As of Monday the 10th ~85cm snow at the border, not groomed yet from border to lake. Some slush on the lake, crossed without stopping, came back around edge, 3-4ft powder and nice riding.
BDX Diamond Drive Light, lightweight rotor with Kevlar pads, torsional conversion for the secondary and a challenger extreme and you'll notice a HUGE difference.
Sorry to hijack but how are the '07-'09 700 Dragons holding up? My nephew is looking for an affordable first mountain sled and they seem very reasonably priced but don't want to recommend something that has too many issues (they've all got a few kinks to hammer out!) thanks.
Look forward to hearing, pictures if you can!! Looks like Nov. 15 before I can bring the bus in due to work, any update would be appreciated. At least the cold got me in gear as it looks like n M8 puked it's guts in my garage!
No visible damage, we think he plugged the vent on the secondary bolt from blown belt debris and lost all the fluid, cooked the bearings and gears but case went unscathed. Seriously, he wants to trade for beer, hahaha, about $100 worth!
