Had a Lennox furnace in my first house and I had to take that out every year and scotch bright the rod. Luckily I have a relative that was a furnace installer and he saved me calling in someone the first time it went down.
I have a 78 Enticer 340 Enticer Larry edition. 87 Enticer 340 and a 1991 phazer 2. All have been revived from various motor issues and the phazer was a write off that I rebuild with a different chassis. Also had an 84 Srv but I sold it a few years ago when I needed some cash for Christmas.
Did a bit of searching and it looks like there were kits for 38" wide that included spindles and upper a-arms. I would assume you would use original lower a-arms. Not sure if you can get just the a-arms though.
My 04 will do that occasionally too. I think that there is a module that is a bit flaky. Had to unhook and reconnect my battery once to get it to start. Other times I just try shifting to neutral and park trying it randomly and it will usually fire up. TEX78 will likely have a better answer...
