I think the internal waste gate is pretty good on mine, i haven't ever seen over 10. I try and keep it around 7-8. How did your sled run on pure AV? i've heard of aerochargers bogging a little bit on pure av in the alpine. I read somewhere around here also; 0-5000ft pure av gas for not sure of...
I agree. They aren't bagging the products by any means. I was told by TSS to run straight Av. Don't even mess with the oil settings. I also talked to a fellow at motor tech (mechanic) in golden and he said that he didn't mess with the oil pump settings at all and wouldn't recommend it. But, with...
I was told that AV gas or 100LL is good for around 10 PSI. not over. 12 seems excessive. I run 7-8 but my boost controller seems to creep up to 9 sometimes and i have to put it in check again, have never ran over 10.
I do oil down my fuel. I run Amsoil sabre, they say you can run anything on...
Its just bad luck when that happens. Depends on the type of failure, and if the cords get stuck behind the primary, it will take out that Lip type seal.
I have 1600KM on my belt, still looks great too. Don't even remember breaking it in.
I purchased the Ski-scratchers from Teth-air and they're awesome.

They lube the sliders really well, and my sled has never overheated yet. Even running on almost pure ice up owls head a few weeks ago.
If the mesh lets air in, i couldn't see a downfall. I have a headlight delete mountain fit hood, i like it. But the intake was sort of a pain in the A. Especially in really deep snow the sled seems to choke on snow. The mesh hood should alleviate this problem! I think it would be an awesome set up.
