I just bought two new non current mountain cats in November. It seems that arctic cat is super low on parts, not just my dealer but actually warehouses and even the factory. I smucked one of them up and they’re not even giving me a date on the back order for a primary clutch and crank. I find...
I installed a 2019 factory tether on my 18 mtn cat. Checked to see if it stalled the machine when I installed it. Worked flawless for about 1000km and then I bailed off my sled one day and it kept running. Any insight would be appreciated.
Well I got about 500km on the Conquer 280.... not that impressed. It handles well and holds a side hill way better than the stock. But it trenches bad and doesn't climb at all. Great on the trail, hooks up on the hard pack, but that's not why I bought the track. It is eleven pounds lighter...
I recently separated my stock 154 3" on my 18 summit with only 1350km's. Hoping for warranty, but sounds like a long shot. Considering this track. Anyone with experience running this track? Pros and cons? Thanks in advance.
I have a 17 154 2 1/2 and a 18 154 3".
17!has been outstanding! Blew a belt at 1700km... respectable was a hot day. Hit lots of trees and what not, no front end damage, very surprised as I went over the bars on a few occasions.
Now the 18. Laminated the track, probably running it to hard on...
Throttle stuck wide open on 15 600 xm. Has anyone heard of or had this problem? It was fairly cold... -25. And about a 1-1/2 feet of fresh. Any intelligent feed back would be great, thanks
I bought my son a 2015 summit 600 sp. I got them to install some of the accessories, but one of the things I did install was an aftermarket can, not sure which one. The problem is that where the springs fasten from the can to the Stock pipe. It looks to me, after taking a closer look, that the...
I have a 14 sno pro that i bought off of stojans in gp. Rumor has it that theyve sold over 500 sleds this year. Having said that, their service has been awesome! In and out quickly with self inflicted damage. Just thought id see whats new on this site and came across this thread. I went out to...
I've bought the BRP clutch bag as well. It's a joke on powder days(which has been every day in gp! Lol). I've kept the bag completely closed.... A little open.... Almost wide open. No luck. They either are damp and freeze or dry when I grab new pair from there but it won't do much for goggles...
Just bought an etec with electric start. I originally wanted one with just pull start but stock was minimal so ended up with electric. I wanted to keep the wieght down and go with a lithium battery. My question is are they as reliable in the cold? How much lighter? What all do you need to be...
so... Im just wondering, did you have the bdx cold air kit and take it off, or did you always have the timberled one on? How is the timbersled one different, Im not familiar with it.
I have had issues with my cold air intake kit. Its great most of the time, however, when the snow conditions are just right (with a couple of feet of new fresh powder and cold weather) I find that I end up with snow covering the cold air intake. I contribute a bog and lousy throttle response...
Ya thats kind of what I was thinking, Ive known Al for a long time and like there approach. No pressure to buy and friendly service. That is a big part of buying a machine that maybe some people dont think about when buying new, whats going to happen when I have to take it back for service?!
I would be all over that! Demo ride or rent would be ok too, an excuse to ride in a area I havent rode before, im from northern Alberta. Definately interested, would like more details.
Cant wait for Krazy Canadian 4! You guys are truly out there! LOL. What you guys do is a some sort of recipe that includes cutting edge technology, years of experience and tons of balls. I recently climbed something that I didnt have the balls to come down, not a good feeling.
Went out to Beaver Creek on Sunday of May long. Had a couple hundred yards of dirt leading from the parking lot, and a little more than that on the power line, but once we got into the bush heading up the hill the snow was soft but still quite a bit of it. Once we got up on top there was still...
I dont really have alot of faith in any dealers around here, they all seem with the program until you buy one, then when something happens to it, they dont really give a rats ass, they have your money and if you pissed off and dont come through the front door, two more newbie suckers will. Kind...
What your saying really makes sense. I really like my M8. Its a great machine and im used to it. Its been pretty much trouble free, never left me stranded. I have spent more time dialing it in than I wanted, so am a little leary on running out and modding my next sled(espicially engine mods). I...
