1mm part # 90201-225A4-00 these are from yamaha
you will be lucky to get 2mm worth of shims on as you need 2mm gap left on shaft to lock the primary clutch in as I said Nyroc or you tube has this in detail, You tube has a video...
Bling Bling, beautiful, is this just for show an tell, or are going to ride it. You will probably cry when you scratch it. You just need a little mud on the tires and a smile from ear to ear. Great looking bike, keep up the great work, hope to see you the hills some day.Cheers
If I'm not mistaken the drill chart can be found on nyroc.com witch is a good site for quad repairs and how too's don't for get to thank your friends and good luck
yellow springs are for 26-27" tires. you will need the lime green spring and 16 gram weights or drill they. That means press out the steel weight out of the nylon sleeve then with a digital scale, weigh them, I cant remember the drill bit size. Some one on here my have the chart for the drill...
what is the compression, it should be over a hundred or I would leave it , check all fluids, if the diff is milky, you may have problems arise, check the rad and see if it is full of crap, if so it may have an over heating problem in the near future. How much does it smoke and if all is good...
if you can't get any pics go to a yamaha dealer and look at the machines on the floor and take notes. They may even give you a wire diagram for you unit free.
if you still haven't found the probem, I think you will weed a wiring diagram (manual)for your quad. It's alot of work but if you don't do it. Where ever you take it into; to get it fixed, they will have to do it, at a big cost to you. Sorry not much help here good luck, don't give up yet. Ask...
it looks like the clutch is fairly good, but the drum looks worse then the one I have. I phone mountain toys and they say there is no groves in the drum when new. The sheve that is shown looks pretty good. Is the other one worn the same>? Do you have a drum that has no groves in it.
The wet clutch and drum are toast in 2006 king quad and there is a fine silver colour in the oil. It is more then likely that it is from the drum/wet clutch. The question is do I need to split the case to get to the oil sump pump filter. Or do I not need to change it. I clean out the engine the...
Just to let you know it was the wet clutch and the drum. They are both fffffffcked. I thought the wet clutch was behind the secondary but I was wrong , it's behind the primary daaaaaaaa. Thanks for all the input. Cheers.

why do I question you smart guys. I called mountain toys and they said the same thing. I guess you can lead me to the beer but you can't make me drink, so now I'm going to drink and remove the wet clutch. Thank you for your patience and understanding, wish me good luck. This maybe the best...
Ok guys I did an experiment, with the rear wheels off the ground the wheels will turn. But it seems to take forever for the primary clutch sheves to close and no there is no dirt or any thing in the clutch, it is beautiful and clean and the roller weights move freely. Now when I put the wheels...
Thanks for all the input, being unexperienced with the quad when I first got it I change the oil to 10w-40 synthetic. not knowing any better. I thought I was doing something good for the machine, but found out after about a month of owning it that I found out it was the wrong oil. It need to be...
