sweat looking ride, that's right you don't need that front case on there. If you were to put a bungee cord across the top of the rack, that is where you would hook up your winch hook. The reasons is when you are stuck you won't have to dig through the mud to find the hook, easy access.
Well we went out to Mclean to day, what a rush. Lost of ice and packed snow trails and a few water holes, there was another quad club out there also. There must have been 50 quads out and about, and some snow mobiles. 7hr ride and a winney roast, weather was great, more people were coming in...
Re: Brute Force
I would say yes, because you have now moved the power band on your quad. Instead of starting off in 1st gear you may be starting off as high as 3rd gear, this in return will prematurely wear out the clutch and belt, and is hard on the engine. What happens when you get stuck? you...
I'm not to sure if you have room to wrap it, but hot rods with hot headers would wrap them with some type of cloth that is fire retarded up 1000 degrees. Try a hot rod shop for cars and trucks, they may be able to help. Then you just wrap it around the pipe and tie with the proper wire clips
King Quad 750 Demijohn caster mod on you tube, this is so easy of a fix it is ridicules so don't let that be a detour ant for buying the quad, I just think you would want to get it cheaper. Unless it comes with some warranty, on parts and labor that's all. Look forward to see you out on the...
I think the cost is to high for that year and mileage. Even if you go for a ride on it , if you have never owned one you wont know what to look for even with a list. If you plan on going through mud and water it should be snorkeled at lease the cvt, because muddy water gets in and can wear out...
I think the garage is nothing but a big toy box, I have a double with 2 cars, snowmobile and a quad in there, with tools, furnace, welder. The cars are not daily drivers, my Chevy truck stays out side and growels when it's cold out side, TOYS FOR BOYS.
I have never been lost out there I might get turned around from time to time, but never lost. That's why there are trails and they come together sooner or later. I like the trip around the lake, if you are not riding hard it will take about 2 1/2 hrs with a short pit stop at the lake by the...
you can change the springs in the wet clutch also, I did and what a difference it made. The springs are a stall spring kit and you need higher rev's to get them to work and I have 2mm shim that work great as they work as a brake going down hill even in high gear and a yellow spring with 27" tires.
well that all sounds nice but I have run into quad trails that split into bike trails with no signage, the only thing that gave away that it was a bike trail was the trail narrowed and 1 end up with a single track in the mud. I turned around and found a more like able trail. The maps don't show...
how heavy are your weights now and what are you looking for when you drill them out, weight wise. Fat tire said his stock weight was about 22 grams if you drill it out with 6/32 bit 4 holes you get 20 grams, if you drill out 15/64 4 holes 19.6 grams and 17/64 4 holes 18.8 grams and if you use a...
if you are 18yrs or older it should be up to you. If you under that age, it should be mandatory to wear the helmet, this in return would make the next generation more safe because they would already be use to wearing them and probably would feel unsafe if they decided not to wear them later in...
I don't have any but the maps at the store are not that good as a lot of trails have changed and there are new ones that are not on the maps. I've been there so many times I never have used a map. Because some trails are not passable in the spring, you just need to be with another quad with...
this is the same technology as the swamp buggy racers use, skinny, tall and with enough tread to grab on to the bottom of the swamp. not made for thick goo wee mud or muskeg, no flotation. I wont waste my hard earn money on something that wont help me quad where I like to quad.
