We were up the claims on Saturday into mear lake. The trees that were laying down at the west end of the lake, that we always had to watch out for early in the season, became drift wood and are now mainly at the east end and outer edges of the north end. I will try and post a picture when I can.
We were in lethbridge today, pretty scary! Got out in the nick of time. It was raining a bit in brocket when we went through, so hopefully it kept going towards the fire.
The trail between the first and second slide heading into smiths basin has a ton of trees on it from the avalanche last winter. Might be tricky getting through this winter

Heard today that there is still some ice and snow on one avi path, quads Can get through but à full side vehicle would not get through, too much tree debris. Once you get past mear lake they are logging on the right side and there is no access unless you have à radio...
