Hey to all new rev owners with 151hp

Use of the word "detuning" indicates a reduction in power, at least to me.

    Drinking and Sledding

Hell, I get into enough trouble sober to risk drinking on the hill.

    Welcome Sledders

I wonder if everyone there is getting stars in their eyes thinking about the new ski resort. After all, when you've got rich skiers to fleece, you don't need the working man snowmobilers anymore. I haven't had any bad experiences there, yet. (cross my fingers) I have had exceptional service...

    Valemount closure

I'm the signature from hell, #666. ;) What areas are up for closure? Everything?

Is Blue River for the Novice rider?

I've only ridden Parberry at Blue River. Your wife shouldn't have any problems there. Keep in mind that nothing is groomed there.

Need help from an M7 owner.

Haven't had a chance to check guys, I've come down with pneumonia. Thanks for the info and suggestions.

    Horsey Creek Area

This year the road in is not plowed back more than 150m from the highway, so that's where you park. We've had to park on the west side of the highway on another crossroad if there was someone parked on the east side. I've never checked the mileage but it's not too far. 25km to alpine at the most.

    Horsey Creek Area

We took two noobs in there last weekend. No big problems on the trail, except for when Karl fell off his sled.;) The turn and sidehill out at the end of the creek bed is trickier than the creek bed. The trail up the creek bed is far straighter and easier than I've seen it in past years. Just...

Need help from an M7 owner.

Dealer was no help other than to call up part numbers. In full riding gear I'm about 210-215 lbs, sled moves maybe 1/2 inch when I climb on. It's a 153" and afaik the spring is a shared part for all suspension lengths.

Need help from an M7 owner.

I need an M7 owner to measure the rear suspension springs on their sled. The length of the arms (short and long) is what I need, and the thickness as well, if possible. My M8's suspension is overly stiff and shows no sign of softening with use. If I read the Cat part numbers correctly, the M7...

    Parberry/Horsey Creek

We went that far back. Some snow left there but we rode it up.

    M8 Suspension Thread

I've got 400 miles on my M8 now and it still rides like a grain truck. It has not softened at all.

    %*&$# Arctic Cat!

Installed the Cat knee pads on my M8 before heading to Valemount. One side went on fine, but the other didn't. One of the screws that holds the cowl to the tank would just spin and not come out. I managed to finesse it out and away we went. When we stopped for gas in Hinton I noticed a puddle...

    Parberry/Horsey Creek

O-rock, I and a couple newbies rode Parberry (just north of Blue River) on Sunday. Found some decent snow and it looks like a very nice area. Got to watch some snowboarders make some pretty impressive drops too. Trail was a bit rough but worth the effort. Did Horsey on Monday. The creek...

    Who's in Valemount this weekend?

O-Rock, a newbie and I are heading to Valemount tonight, staying at the Summit River Lodge. Anyone else heading out?

    151 Track

I've got a 156 on my 700 Mountain Max. Pipes, reeds, geared down one tooth on top. No problems turning that track at all.

    summitric

I'm not an ASA member. As a matter of fact, I did not know it existed until talking with Ron in Valemount last weekend. There is no club in my area and the vast majority of my riding is in BC.

    Aftermarket Handwarmers?

I don't know about past Cats, but the warmers on my M8 are excellent.
