I am new to the diamond drive thing and am in the process of a track change. I unbuttoned everything last night but can't seem to break the drive shaft loose from the diamond drive. So before I get rowdy I wanted to ask the group if there is anything that holds the drive shaft in place.

it's a Garrett 50. Pretty sure that's the only exhaust that he offers. It sounds somewhere in between stock and a can, pretty quiet, sort of sleeper like.
I posted pictures of the Cutler turbo setup that was just unloaded in my shop on my albums. Haven't had any time to work on the chassis yet but they did a great job on the install.
I was going to run 114 fuel and 12-13 lbs boost. My engine has been modified with lower port timing and Cutler...
I have recently bought an 08 M1000 and will be taking the reverse drive out of the machine before it's even ridden. I don't know the state of repair for the drive that you have, but if you're interested I will have the new take off for sale. $500

I will definately keep that in mind. I try to get out every third weekend if possible and ride mostly the Golden and Revy areas, some Sicamous. Look forward to catching up with you this winter and thanks for the suspension advice.
I hope it turns out to be a good one as I haven't even rode an M1000, just commited and said go. Just sold the Fabcraft/1150 Cutler that I rode for the last 3 years. Thought it was turbo time so I could try and keep up with the Yamahas.
Have you done anything with your rear suspension? I have...
Usually all you have to do is drill or port the cases to lubricate the main bearings. On some makes, like a cat, you should grease the oil pump drive before you cap it. Some guys even put a grease nipple on it and give it a shot once or twice a year.
Mamba. I've run a lot of nitrous over that last few years and agree with Meatman. You clutch your sled for engine only so it's right the majority of the time. When you hit the button your sled simply picks up a few hundred rpm and maybe 5-10 mph track speed depending on the size of shot. As for...
Thanks for the welcome. Yes it is nice to be close enough to the rocks to be able to day trip. The bad part is it's always calling my name when I go to work in the morning.
Been riding the BC rockies for about 15 years, mostly Revelstoke and Golden areas. Sold my Fabcraft/Cutler a week ago and waiting delivery on a new M1000 turbo from Mr. Cutler.
Looking forward to a great sledding season and contributing to this site.
Thanks

Hey Eric, Picking up my m1000 on November 8th and can't wait for the white stuff. Sold the old Cutler last week which brought a tear to my eye, but oh well, off to bigger and better things. Managed to get Cutler to massage the heads and cylinders to be able to run 15 psi boost, about 310hp...
