Once again we will be holding our spring rodeo on May 25th followed by drags on the 26th. We are anticipating 24 teams this spring which will make it the biggest event ever! The event takes place on private property approximately 1 hour northwest of Edmonton. The site provides camping and trail...
Mac my friend, be carefull, we just may have something for you guys this year. It might be a different story with wheelie bars lol.
We have 19 teams entered so there is still room for 2 teams if anyone is interested. We are very excited about our event this year, biggest ever. The new owner is...
We're closing in on May 26th and still have some room for a few teams if anyone is interested. Barrhead isn't that far from place like Grande Prairie, Slave Lake, Edmonton, etc. and there's no better way to spend a weekend. If you're not sure the Saturday rodeo is your cup of tea maybe the drag...
The more the merrier. If you like you could come and watch the rodeo on Saturday, maybe even get picked up on a team if you're game. Sunday will be the drags and everything is welcome. I don't think you'll find a collection of faster atvs at any event in Canada. There is a class for everyone so...
There is about 2000 acres of crown land adjoining the rodeo site that is crisscrossed with trails. There is mud and muskeg out there that a duck can't cross.
I would like to sell off my 174 x 3". Have track, ice age rails, 163 to 174 extension and 8 tooth 3 pitch Avid drivers. Will be taking off this weekend if anyone is interested. Have 5 days riding on it and will sell for 75 cents on the dollar. If someone wants the drivers and is willing to put...
The new year is here and we're starting to get entries. We are sitting at 15 teams and will be allowing another 6. The drag races on Sunday are wide open though. Classes will be;
750 and under
751-800 (includes thundercats and Polaris XPs)
Over 800
King of the Drags
Power adders and wheely...
When I switched to the 3" x 174 on my 09 with an Avid chaincase the handling went completly for sh&t. The only way to gain it back was to put the extended front skid shock in and lengthen out the limiter about an inch. Then pull the handlebars back so the standing position gets you back behind...
If you are going to run the dynoport Y-pipe and pipe you should mate it with the dynoport can (the big one) not the smaller barker model which has too much restriction. Most of the aftermarket cans restrict too much for a bb and some too much for a stock bore. I even opened the outlet up in my...
Mind me asking how much you paid for it? I'm very interested in seeing how this build works out for you. Crankshop has a history of building some engines with phenomanal power, but I don't think I'm going out on a limb to say that their reliability track record hasn't been stellar.
One thing I did notice about the 3" is that you could stop in places you wouldn't dream of stopping with a 2.5 and get rolling again. Mind you anyone following your track can pretty much forget about it. I didn't really notice it was that much harder to spin, turning almost the same track speed...
I haven't removed mine yet but ordered the parts. It came to just over $200 for the rope and ecm mount and the blank out plate. Haven't had the time to westle the oil pump out yet.
I'm not trying to send this thread way off track but if you're weighing sleds I would really like to know where the Pro RMK stands against the XP. Doesn't seem like there is as much of a spread as some would have you believe.
We are holding our 15th rodeo this spring in the Barrhead, Alberta area on May 26th and 27th. We are hoping for 21, 4 rider teams this year which would make it the largest event to date. Our website is www.battenfelderatvrodeo.com and we can be followed on facebook, group name Battenfelder ATV...
