It all boils down to common sense. Put as many flashing lights, wide load signs, a pickup or 2 with flashers on to warn traffic of the over width farm equipment coming down the road. Some of the farm equipment could use the gravel roads instead of the major highways also. A lot of the farm...
Have only rode with the PCV a couple of times. I need to purchase the LCD unit so i can make adjustments to the map while riding. I will also purchase the autotune setup in the future. Never burnt the sled down with the mods so i guess that is a good thing lol:). One thing i did notice was that...
Temps sound pretty good. Check the plugs like Maxwell said. Be careful at lower elevations because temps can vary a lot. My M1000 runs about 1200 max at higher altitude but will easily go over 1250 at low elevation if i am not careful.
No bears but seen some very recent slide activity and many of them were huge. Did get invited to go back in the area yesterday but with the extremely warm weather we thought it best to just stay out of the area.
Have u or anyone else on here tried the autotune? I installed the PCV on my M1000 along with exhaust etc and would like to hear from anyone actually using the autotune!!
Dont know if we will get back into the area again this season. Probably ride the Corbin area if anything. Seemed to be more snow in Corbin when we rode there last week but who knows.;) Wish i could tell u exactly where we went in and out but i was just following the Leader.:beer:
Staged at Castle ski hill. Only rode trail for a few km before getting off of trail and into the trees. The person that was leading us in had just found a new (to him) route into the area (couple scary trips down through the trees). We came out through the middle Kootenay area on the trail. So...
Yes that is the area, definitely not for the faint of heart. Was my 2nd time back into this area but had someone who rides there almost weekly leading the way. A lot of nice looooong climbs back in the area.
I am running the same slp exhaust that you have for sale. What were you running for clutching if you dont mind me asking? Good luck with the sale of your parts.
Yes that was us. I ride the orange M1000, my brother rides the white snowpro and LIGHTWEIGHT rides the XP. Probably go back to Corbin on wed for a ride. Does anyone know if Koko Claims has more snow than Corbin area? Thanks.
What kind of primary weight are you running if you dont mind me asking? My sled runs decent with the map i have but i know i am leaving a lot on the table. Just looking for some input on what PCV numbers some people are using with the SLP exhaust system. Seems people are finding the SLP map to...
Sled is an 08 M1000 with all updates, Timbersled intake, head cut for premium fuel, PCV control box and full SLP exhaust. Just looking for some info on clutching changes and PCV numbers when running the full SLP exhaust. I am running my stock clutching with the 046 belt and Dalton adjustable...
