Hey, just wondering if any one out there has a stock primary clutch kickin around, not totally sure if mines a write off. The chunk of aluminum and the aluminum shavings are kind of a give away, I think.
Well, I suppose, since you asked so nicely..... We were up quartz today, parking lot is kinda muddy due to the rain, trail is holding up so far right to the parking lot. Snowed pretty hard up top today, I'm gonna throw 1'-1 1/2' out there, in the past 2 days. Even though the trail hasn't been...
The funny thing is..... that most people caught in slides have avy training and the most advanced avy gear available. Its been my experience that the more prepared riders are, the more likely they are to get them selves into trouble.
I can not stress this enough..... JAWS ALL THE WAY!!!! They say proof is in the pudding, well heres a little story for you. Met a guy on the hill one fine day. Both stock 09 M1 except for the cans, mine MBRP, his jaws. He was out climbing me like crazy. First thought was "maybe its the...
You could probably ride with us if you want. We just hooked up with a couple we just met today and gonna head to quartz again tomorrow, why not one more person that we never met before. Your call.
At certain elevations and rmp my 09 m1000 loads up and runs like crap. One of the mod shop guys told me that it was due to a fuel pump problem, too high fuel pressure. Adding a regulator or, like said before, adding parts the will increase air flow would help.
Those are some great sleds for the mountains, for a first time sledder...... Well, as long as you ride to your ability and comfort level, and not those sleds ability, you'll be fine. Those sleds "WILL" get you into a lot of trouble up there if you let them.
I know, cause it sounds like your leaning towards the 1000, you might go against the majority. However, having owned and a RT 1000 05, they do pull hard, and I did have a lot of fun on that sled. But you did need to know what you were doing to try and get it to do technical stuff. Also, if...
Hey, how are things, good to hear from you. I appreciate you contacting me. We went to Cody's funeral and met his family. It was pretty tough, but we felt that if the shoe was on the other foot, I'd want to talk to the people who spent my son's last moments with him. Any way hope all is well...
I also own both, 09 Summit 800 146" (can, Y & pipe, reeds), and 09 M1 162", stock, however (due to the dealer I bought if from, but thats another story). What I can tell you, is that, no you wont be racing the doos up on set up snow, but the doos wont be following you on your technical line in...
All you crazy guys out there. You just need to do what I did, found a girl with a sled. Woman, as far as I'm concerned, are like GI Joes. There alright by them selves (boarder line boring really), but with accessories, they can kick some real ass.
Gotta say, buying a sled at Camrose was alright, Sales staff really need to do there home work on the comp's product though. Have had a little trouble with service there, if you know me, I underestimate my comments of "little trouble". In short, not going back if I dont have to.
