Re: Need Boost? Aerocharger is going to release another XM Kit.
Wouldn't be any chance for those of us who bought a kit in the last year or so, who paid $6800 US, could expect a little something in the mail from you guys???
Ummmmm what's there not to understand. Reading comprehension, 20C drop is equal to 36F drop. 68F drop in temp. is a 38C drop in temp. 68F is equal to 20C, but I don't know of any clutch on the planet that would be able to operate at that low of a temp.
As far as I know, this would be correct. I believe the biggest reason for the head work, is due to the fact that we typically ride where they unload. By that I mean, where these aero kits are developed and tested. They are unloading at times at 10'000' and riding at 13,000'. I have ridden...
WOW!!! What do you guys do to cause damage to your engines? 2002 summit 700, rebuilt top end at 8500km due to power issues, top end was good, a little low on compression was all. Turned out to be the primary clutch spring housing was cracked, last time I take anything to a dealer! Oh, and did...
All depends on boost. With the way Ken sets up his sleds, 5-6, premium all day every day. 7-8, around Edmonton, it would be advisable to run straight av. In the hills, good chance premium is still safe, but at fuel prices, why risk it. 9-10, av gas all day every day. I ran his set up on my...
2nd that, seems to me, there is a little known connecting rod failure going with some of those engines. Stock sleds having same issue, even herd a rumour some people with turbos got it pushed through on warranty.
Thanks, I appreciate you listing all that sensory stuff, woulda taken me for ever to thumb all that on my iPhone! Hence the " to sum up" comment. You are correct, my comment was not helpful. Having said that, Here is the real question one should be asking, why after spending all that money on...
I did a little reading to edgumacate myself on the new ski doo ECM, sensors, fueling system and how they all talk to each other. To sum up, basically, if the air/fuel going in, coming out, timing, RPM, engine temp. is off or it sees something it don't like, she'll do anything it can to prevent...
2nd that!!! I'm running the low boost kit from them right now, gonna kick it up next year. If you want something that works great and just as he says it will, of coarse you'll pay for it $$$$$$, than he has the kit for you! Over 500km trouble free, runs like stock, no lag, bog or dead spots...
I have the same set up. The guy that built my sled does on all his builds. He gets the dealer to do it and all he says is whatever it's at now, you go down a notch. Apparently thats what richens it up. Hope this helps and that it runs good for you, mine runs great, runs completely like stock...
That sucks! I've got over 500km on my 2015 T3 with my aero. However, I've got the same money into mine as you do in yours, with out any real "extras". The thing runs great, so much so, it's as if it was put on at factory! No codes, no bogs, just pull the rope and go, fires every time and the...
