First planned trip this year won’t be until December 7th-9th unfortunately. Avalanche training the weeekend after. Too busy with work which is sadly becoming a trend. There is years we’ve been up three weekends in November alone. Dangerous, but fun. Been pretty lucky overall I’d say.. Came back...
A 23’ or 24’ MC will check off all your boxes. On some of those bigger boats you’ll want at least a 400HP option IMO. They have options from 300HP to 550hp (and maybe more?). This coupled with the tabs will get you on plain nice and quick. Plenty of room inside and the newer ones all have...
First question: what’s your budget? If the sky’s the limit I’d be ordering a Mastercraft X-24 no questions asked...
If your budget is somewhere in the $100k-$130k range I’d be looking at a Mastercraft X-23 or a Air Nautique G23/G24. In my opinion nothing out there compares to Mastercraft or...
Thats a fair point. The colour spectrum alone is unbelievable on that drone. Over 1 billion colours. Mind boggling.
@FastFarmer... get a Mavic 2. I’ve read every review I can on it- for action sports where you need portability it’s hands down the best drone out there. The sensors and 3d...
Pretty much decided on the Mavic 2 for a replacement. Trying to decide between the Pro and the Zoom. Both have their benefits. Right now I’m leaning toward the Zoom. Don’t think I’d fully use the additional camera feature in the Proband the zooming ability seems like it would help for what I...
Well, got her all taken apart this weekend. Gonna take it in to Mots this week for a quote/diagnosis. Pictures:
Had to have one guy sit on the engine and use a 2foot snipe to get the clutch off lol
Finally split the thing...

Even in the stock mounting holes they still don’t reach. Will be looking more closely tomorrow. Surprised nobody else has brought this up as the stock ones hardly last a season if your lucky!!
Where on the rail is everybody mounting their stock scratchers?
The other day I went to install a set of Ice Storm scratchers off my old Pro and found that there was nowhere to mount the holder using the two holes from the stock ones. I don’t necessarily want to try tucking them inside the...
Hey Keith, not sure if my measage went through. If your willing to lend me the stator puller I’d greatly appreciate that. Feel free to message or text me!
Our redneck attempts at the clutch weren’t working so we decided to hold off. I’m going to go buy the clutch tool for the clutch and a flywheel puller for the stator. Thanks for the feedback!
Trying this again today. First question. How do we get the stator out? Do we need a puller? Any recommendations?
Second question: how does everybody take off the primary clutch? Not sure we want to introduce water into the mix (method I’ve read about online) being as the engine is taken...
