9 of us rode our Harleys up through Smithers, Dease Lake, Whitehorse, a day trip to Skagway and onto Dawson City a few years ago... great trip but all of the gravel had me wishing I wasn't on my new bike. The scenery was unreal and the wildlife also great. I will definitely do this trip again...
If you have to stick with the shorter wall due to restrictions, I would recommend scissor trusses. Gives a lot of extra overhead height and a great place to install a radiant tube...
Whew did Larsen smoke the inside wall hard... good thing there was a safer barrier there. It's looking like maybe Goodyear better go do some homework for the next race here.
I agree. Sold my 02 ultra with new cams, lifters, push roods, chain tensioner plate upgrade, and oil pump for 10 grand to a friend 2 years ago now. Bike had 90,000 km on it but showed very well. The mileage didnt scare me at all after opening up the engine and seeing the condition... chain...
I couldn't believe what I was reading this morning... I checked the calendar to be sure it wasn't April 1st!!!! Must have been one hell of an offer for SHR to switch to Ford. I remember Tony not being impressed about the switch to Toyota back in his final season at Gibbs and am very shocked...
Yeppers super exciting last couple laps... wanted Harvick to make something happen but the Toyotas shut that down. Fun to watch - lost too much cash on bets though. Oh well, hopefully make it up at Phoenix.
I bent my 09 xp tunnel also. I ordered this from Van Amburg without the normal 'windows' that are cut into the side plate. One of the windows lined up exactly where the tunnel had a crease so the solid side plates were the ticket. I also put on a Canada Sled Parts rack to add strength...
Lots of good points here guys. I really think it's got to be tough for these drivers to still live there lives off the track and enjoy doing what they want when the 'big machine' that is Nascar, sponsors, media, etc... are always there to pounce when something goes sideways in their personal...
