I changed my weights last night. The weights in it were 10-60s, and I put in 10-64s. I ran it and now it is running up to over 8000 rpms, but certainly doesn't seem to pull as hard, maybe that's to be expected. It still doesn't feel right though. I didn't do a plug burn, have to do that...
I called the dealer and that's what they told me, that I was hitting the rev limiter, but I find that a bit confusing as why wouldn't it allow the engine to run to at least 8000 rpm? I tried to change the weights yesterday but I couldn't get the clutch opened wide enough to slip the weights...
My engine cutting out (fast sputtering) at anything over 7600 RPM. Right now I have 60 gram weights in it from the last trip to mountains.
Thought it may be fuel, but have run at least a couple tanks through it and added eco-fuel saver to the tanks and still doing it. Around here elevation is...
Can someone explain what they're checking for with the trailer brakes? I have brakes on mine (double axel) but I have to admit I haven't checked the battery in awhile.
I've had good luck with Cycle Works West myself so far. One question, is the only reason they didn't fit is because there needed to be holes drilled in the existing fenders? If that is the case, why not just drill the holes, or do they not fit period even with the holes drilled? If they are...
You need to improve your reading comprehension. I said that I've seen more dangerous riders WITH gear than I have without helmets. The gear had nothing to do with it, their riding style did. Maybe you're the dumb one that you speak of? Do you always wish harm on people that don't agree with...
I've seen a lot more riders in my day that WERE wearing helmets and their safety gear that were more dangerous than anyone on the trail because they were irresponsible aholes and drove the trails like they are the only one on them. Ripping along trails at breakneck speeds through intersections...
Yeah I know, the non-sledders say the same thing about people who himark hills in the mountains. I guess you just supported their arguments and there are alot of people on this forum that do the himark thing, but I guess the non-sledders are wrong, since its mountain sledding and we all like to...
I seem to have knocked the shifter out of line. I think what happened is that I trailered it in Park and I must have put some pressure on it after I put it in park. Anyway, while it will go into low gear and park, the display does not show that and it won't start when in park unless I squeeze...
So do those of you that support this law also think the government should tell parents what they can feed their children? Look at all the articles about childhood obesity we see these days. Isn't that also a health hazard? Isn't it just as irresponsible to allow children to eat too much junk...
I think the important thing is that snowmobilers get recognized for their efforts here. It is true that the horse people played a large part, but NO MORE than the snowmobilers and it was SNOWMOBILERS that brought the issue to the fore to begin with. They are the ones that brought up the feed...
Will I damage anything if I run my sled around here (Central Alberta) with the mountain weights in it? Want to go on a day trip and my other sled has no room for a gas rack.
