Left hand throttle eh? Take lots of time to get used to it. I scared the Chet out of myself with an accidental squeeze. Now I leave the pin in until I'm on the mountain.
Make sure you have a good look at the chain as well. if it's only the 13 wide my guess is you'll find some broken links. Good time to upgrade to a 15 wide chain.
Hey guys, that was me. I removed the rear cooler and Gerry @ Martin bypassed the front cooler after it developed a leak. It's part of the chassis and must stay for structural reasons. I just warm it up like normal and go. Haven't had any issues.
Time to finish blacking out the 05 RT. Everything is taken care of except the springs on the front shocks. I'm wondering if I should spray and clear them or just take them to Perfection Powder Coating in the city? I'm concerned the powder coating won't adhere with the springs compressing and...
Got er done! Summiteer came over and we (he) found a red wire with an empty connector which came from the harness returning from the key switch. We cut the connector off and saudered in a 5 amp inline fuse and voila! Worked good in both high and low only when the switch was on. Don't expect any...
Does anyone out there have pictures of the easiest switched power source to tie into? I just installed a new set of Moose Industries heated grips and everything went well, but I want to make sure I tie it into a proper source. Any help would be appreciated!:confused:
