I wonder how much of this was due to bad harmonics from the motor compared to a poorly designed clutch?

What sled to get for under $10,000

Wow, that is high. I would sell my 19 AXYS 850 for around $8000 with a full year bumper to bumper warranty remaining.

They might have to add a cushion to the end of the clutch like Doo did on the TRA. Not for harmonics but as a bumper under the bolt head to take the pounding of the clutch, everytime it snaps open.

Yes we are pretty hard on the sled manufacturers but their suppliers can make them look bad. In the end it is the manufacturers responsibility for quality control. But to your point earlier, about the chains and gears, what should a manufacturer do if the product arrives late and is off spec...

I kinda agree with you although I also heard that each larger part has been individually balanced so mixing and matching parts will work. Not sure who to believe. The spider might be low enough in mass and that mass may be close enough to the center of rotation so it may not need balancing (in...

Who knows? Even re-using the cover, cover bolts or weights might fall into the category of "repair" as apposed to "replace". Or they are just looking at specifically replacing the failed component.

Anyone who was left stranded on the mountain would be pissed, either a Polaris rider with a clutch in the belly pan or a Doo guy with and exploded chain case. The exploding chain cases sounds like it is an easy fix. The clutch might be too but I expect takes more time as re-engineering...

    Kijiji Scams

Just listed my 2018 Ram 3500 Laramie Megacab on Kijiji. Wow I have heard that you need to be watchful of scams but it has been rediculous. From the minute I listed it I started getting texts from all kinds of area codes. They all wanted me to go to their preferred website and get a history...

    Speedo recalibration

I use Forscan to recalibrate my Ford. It is a very powerful tool and the trial is free and $10 a year thereafter. It also lets you turn on and off many features. I turn off the annoying TPM warning as my winter wheels don't have them. Use a good qaulity OBD2 device to up load and download...

You have a point. It was only a bad decision if they did it to cut costs only. They did not seem to communicate very well why they switched out the parts.

No, they cut corners this year. Likely because there was a supply chain problem. Or maybe to cut costs. It was a bad decision.
