we did it once with bottle jacks not going to attempt it this time. going up higher and we have a bit of money so we are willing to spend some want a better experience for sledders to get in and out of our cabins.
renshaw if we do it in the summer is by heli. Lucille is by truck summer. renshaw size is 36x20... Lucille is 20x20 attached to a 16x14 no idea of weight.
we need to raise 2 of our cabins about 4 feet to get them off the ground. is there anyone on here that has the equipment to do this, probably a bunch of jacks. as a club we will supply the material and help with manpower. you supply knowledge and a bill
up belle to do clean up and haul garbage out. thanks everyone no garbage and cabin was clean. thumbs up to all that were riding belle and packed out what you packed in
I have been cleaning our 3 cabins for 13 years so we are used to it but this year with no grooming this early in the year we are going up on sleds. I do expect it just trying to remind anyone still sledding to pack it out. town is basically shut down but there have been a few up.
valemount doesn't have a hospital and our is small and would not handle an outbreak. as of now no cases here and that is the way we would like to keep it.
you are correct. we have a small corridor off the end of the castle to the right which the club asked for but do not manage. but once in there you need to know where the boundary is for the closure. the facts are there have been many tickets issued in the dore closures
well with no groomed trail that is most likely the case for a ground rescue. I am pretty sure the pilot wouldn't let anyone in his bird as they are not big enough to space 6 feet apart. stay home we are CLOSED!!!!!
we are closed. as for the dore about the only parts not closed are the valley bottom. stay out of there. the co's are in the air often and many tickets have been handed out to sledders in the closures.
also you need to remember that S&R is being affected. get hurt, you will be at risk of a possible longer wait or possibly having to self rescue. cabins and b&b are closed no place to eat and drink. stay home.
