Just picked up a new truck with a LC9 engine in it, the dealer said to let the oil life monitor system do its thing. I looked at him and said i'll do it way sooner than that for the first oil change. 3000kms changed the oil and it was blacker than some of the diesel oil i've changed. Lets hope...
I was thinking about tossing one of these on my 2012 Chevy 1500. There shouldn't be any chance on how the truck rides, just the height of the front of the truck (almost the same as say a body lift). We'll see how the next couple weeks go, but might wait till the spring.
There is a winter road that runs out of Behchoko, but only goes up a couple hours north but doesn't come close to Inuvik. Actually nothing out of the yellowknife area comes close to Inuvik. You'll have to try and check out Dawson City.
Been rocking the Michelin 3 ton jack for about 2 years now. Picked up everything with this thing (even dropped a V6 engine out of the wife's car). If you can pick it up on sale at crappy tire, your looking at about $130, i can deal with buying a new one after a couple years.
Sometimes air bubbles can become trapped in the system, running with the rad cap off allows them to escape. And yes even after sitting for 2 weeks, the air bubble can still be trapped.
Sorry, not new.. rebuilt. Either way, the engine I picked up from Brp was in alot better shape than the "new factory shortblock" I picked up from Teth-air.
Had to pick up a new shortblock from BRP for my sled, the engine was $1900, plus a $700 core. The case was cracked and the piston was blown. Still got $500 for the core. There is something about new from the dealership that makes you feel a little more comfortable than buying used. Call Martin...
no worries, i've got hockey on sunday night, but should be available during the day (sat, sun or mon). I should probably fire the sled up in the next day or two, and take the loud can off and put the suitcase back on.
I live in Northeast Edmonton, but work on the base. If anyone wants to go for a ride (morinville, st.albert, etc) we should post up a staging area and perhaps a time, maybe when the snow will actually stick around? Been driving out around the roads north of the base in the last couple days, and...
Im not sure if it was you or not, but my wife and I received 2, $5 off coupons from someone on friday evening. If it was, thank you very much. If not, thanks anyhow for giving it to someone else!
It just seemed like the same old show, didn't seem to have alot of gear for sale, compared to previous years. Might have done a double take at the boondocker booth, wasn't sure if it was him or not. Didn't bother to stop and talk. I did stop at the snow and mud booth, the wife picked up a shirt...
