Winter will be quiet. Very little free cash flow generated over the past year to fund much of a capital program. Most of the oil as gas hedges will be off by Fall. Oil and Gas companies will just hunker down over the winter.

Just need to move the investment somewhere else. Many places to invest outside Western Canada that offer much better returns for way less hassle. Let's watch what happens over the next 12 - 18 months.

Major cost difference is we pay about $1.20/km up here and around $50/hr for a pick up and Operator. In the U.S., we pay $0.50/km and $20/hr for equivalent service. Different expectations and associated local costs (housing, food, etc).
