An average gas well is far from 10Mm/day in production. Only the Best Montney wells are that good and after 1yr they are down by 50% and by the end of yr 2, down to 25%. We do not get $3.00 for our gas either (that is WTI pricing). We get either AECO at about $2 or Station 2 in BC which sold...
LNG is not going to happen until natural gas gets closer to $8.00 - and the price may never top $5.00 again (just too much around).
After Fort Hills, it could be a long time until the next oilsands project. The long term outlook on oil is weak, not nearly enough to support new investment...
A new belt will not solve the clutching issues - the calibration is wrong! A new belt that can withstand additional heat may prevent belt failure but the bigger issue is the heat that is being transferred from the Primary to the Crank = engine failure.
Just fix the calibration. DJ and...
You want to use all the clutch face if for no other reason (and there are other reasons) to dissipate heat.
Also, just because the sled reaches and holds rpm, doesn't mean the clutch is working well at all-the belt may be slipping.
There will be a blip this winter then slow for another year. Companies are bidding aggressively, hiring conservatively and holding expenses and wages flat.

Starting to see some new bids from large Oil and Gas service Companies. Still very aggressive /low because it looks like Q1 2017 will be a bump in activity then fall off for the rest of the year. They want to capture the activity (what there is) and are biding accordingly.

65% of Alberta water is used for irrigation, 8% for the Petroleum Industry. The biggest Fracs in Canada are in shale deposits (Horn River), followed by the Duvernay. Montney is a distant cousin. Earthquakes in the US are associated with disposal wells, mostly in Oklahoma. Water use is a...
Electrical generation using natural gas surpassed coal a couple years ago in NA. Another market for gas for sure, but as mentioned above, technology has opened up access to so much resource that the oversupply is not going anywhere anytime soon.
Wateruse in well completions will be reduced...
