    Shockwave Toyhauler Review

I am looking at a 25ft or so Toyhauler. Shockwave makes a 25ft layout we like. Anyone have any experience with a Shockwave or even any Forest River Toyhauler. I would appreciate any feedback good or bad. Thanks

A Revy Sled Bum's Tale: Another Season with Lilduke

Great snow conditions! Just a little different than the Calgary area.

A Revy Sled Bum's Tale: Another Season with Lilduke

Hey, thanks for the response. But even though I have been riding in the mountains for the past 30 years, I am an average rider at best. I guess life (family, work) has just got in the way too many times. I do agree that the t3 is a great sled, actually an amazing sled with the right rider...

What to do to your new t3 right away?

Perfect, the Forums say track speed is where it's at.

    Recession just around the corner?

Yep, Bitumen is about as expensive as it gets and and we need it to sell our condensate, kind of a double whammy. US Shale is not doing too good either as it costs around $70 to produce (Baaken rigs are going down like crazy). The market is the US and I bet Mexico oil is way cheaper to produce...

What to do to your new t3 right away?

Put a 2.5" track on it.

    Recession just around the corner?

The reality is that competitive royalties allow Canada to compete with other countries, specifically the US. Exploration and production costs (equipment, transportation and labor) are significantly higher than in the US. Without the royalty structure as it exists in Canada today, we would not...

    Recession just around the corner?

Spent the weekend in Revy. Been riding there for many many years. Can't remember it so quiet! Usually in low snow years, the sledding traffic moves to Revy - I can't imagine how slow it would have been if there was snow anywhere else.

A Revy Sled Bum's Tale: Another Season with Lilduke

We rode Revy on Saturday. 8-12" of fresh on a solid base. Visibility mostly sucked except for 2 glorious hours when the clouds parted. Overall a great day. When we left Sunday morning there was 6" on the trucks and I can see why Sunday was a great day (in the right place). The snow...

    Recession just around the corner?

We (the West) have had a great run since 2008 - every opportunity to capture a top wage, save a few bucks and pay down debt. With this run coming to an end, there certainly won't be too many tears shed in the East as they have been watching this extravagance from the sidelines for years...

    Recession just around the corner?

Very wise words and a great perspective from someone who has seen these cycles before!

    Vegas Indoor Gun Range....Anyone been?

The Gun Club was good. A little expensive with the packages around $160 each. The kids had fun though.a fellow from the UK shot a 50cal Sniper Rifle. That thing was loud.

Be careful out there...Not always this lucky

Yes, a dangerous hill especially with the trap at the bottom. In the late 90's we dug a fellow out (avid experienced snowmobiler on a climber). He was buried more than 10ft down. Just when beacons and avy gear started. Lots of help on the hill. We dug him out with no injuries. We always...

    A LOT of XM T3 174's for sale….

$14k CDN was a good price when the guys bought them a month or so ago. If I wanted one (and I don't) there will be plenty available for that price or less in January with full warranty, a few extras and barely broken in. That's a better deal IMHO.

    A LOT of XM T3 174's for sale….

I guess it depends on how you look at it. Warranty exists just across the border (and there is NO problem getting it) but with at least $2500 in savings, not sure how important it is anyway. BTW a sled is not an investment! I have been super loyal to our local dealers in the past, but when BRP...

    A LOT of XM T3 174's for sale….

A group of guys here took a four place down south and brought home four 174 t3 sleds. Landed in Calgary for just over $14k CDN. Now there is time and fuel involved on top of that price. Was a good deal a month ago.

    A LOT of XM T3 174's for sale….

i thought we would need to wait a little longer to get this price. Almost worth buying, but still need to put a 2.5" track on it to make it a decent sled:)

    A LOT of XM T3 174's for sale….

I have been around the 174 3" sleds for several years now. There are conditions when I would want one, but because I live 3hrs from the riding areas and need to plan my trips, those blue bird and deep snow days are few and far between. Looking back over the years (25 or so), there have been...
