I thought all the HD gas Dodges were 6.4s? I’ve had several 5.7 trucks and I wouldn’t want them in a 3/4 truck. They are good motors, just they are built for high revs and not low end grunt and this would be especially noticeable in older trucks before the 8 speeds came out.

On my 2014 Ram I have pods bolted to the sides of the receiver mount on either side of the spare tire. Far enough in to be invisible walking around the truck but still light up the road great at night. Connected to the reverse wire in the trailer harness.
There are many in the groups I ride with. Comfort and handling are very good, also slow and heavy, hard to pull out of the mud. 2 new machines are currently down with blown engines, not sure the cause but they are not expecting the warranty work completed until May or June next year. One...
I also have a Dodge Crewcab 1500. A Dodge minivan literally has a 50% higher cargo weight capacity than that truck does and every other 1/2 ton I’ve looked at that has seating for 5 or 6.
Like every 1/2 ton truck, they are designed for pretend street drag racing, taking the kids to the mall and picking up groceries from Costco. I'm sure it will do all those just fine.
