Clode did you know about this issue before KaneDog pointed it out on your 16’ clutch? Wow this has been going on for 5 years!??
I agree with KD and can’t believe from a factory level they could not figure this out
I do not have the answer for this KDog. I’m no clutching expert, you my friend are the guru on clutching. I am here to learn from your super powers and years of experience. I have to agree with both of you gentlemen on the weak covers causing the flexing of the towers but there has to be more...
Remember that one time I was backing up my 40ft down that crazy logging road and she got away from me?? Haha we ended up in the weeds real bad! We broke the driveshaft trying to get it out, then had to get the cat to come down and pull us out. That was the first and last time I did that. Decks...
I have a MotorFist Kali in good shape that I would part ways with for you. I haven’t used it in years. I’ve been using the new FXR carbon and it is even lighter then my old Kali helmet. If my Kali doesn’t fit you or you can’t find one check out the new FXR carbons they are sick
That’s a good thing!! Means Cat has pulled all the clutches off the shelf. Probably an internal stop sale of whatever they had left. New clutches and new part numbers on the way. All clutch part numbers will supersede into the new part number and they will pretend nothing ever happened
All these comments of guys that use covers but all we see down here is sleds with no covers lol where’s all the comments from the guys that are Rollin with no covers?
You can see clear as day what the master engineering piece of garbage problem is here in this gentlemen’s pic, look at the binding marks on the bushing not allowing the shaft to move freely. This has catastrophe (no pun intended) wrote all over it. The washer is pressed up against the bushing...
Same! I’m a just going to remove the washer and replace with a much smaller washer so the bushing can actually move instead of binding against the bolt. Red lock tight and torque to 15-20ft/lbs if it breaks or strips, or any damage occurs, new rail. Not my problem
Dano, your situation is a little different, your sled is just in the back of your truck not getting completely covered in smagma and yes a little older and well used. Maxwell and I are talking about the guys rolling coal in the jacked up diesel with 2 brand new experts on the deck with 2” of...
LOL I was going to post this same thing!! The amount of sleds rolling around BC right now is ridiculous without covers! I don’t get it, only 1 in 10 sleds have covers and it used to be 1 out of every 10 didn’t have a cover. Look at me I have a 20K sled look at me I have a wrap and cheetah bars...
Johnny next time you ride your sled take your hood off and have a look in front of your throttle bodies, if you have any discolouration or milky fluid in front of your throttle bodies you are ingesting snow, should just have a light film of the same color oil thats in your tank mixed with some...
