No because most of the roads are completely ****ed underneath the 25mm and were never paved properly to begin with. Now a days we have fancy machines with electronics and can pave two lanes at the same time. Back in the day when these roads were originally paved they were all done old school by...
It’s not so much the contractors, we are bound to only do what the contract entitles us to fix. If the ministry of transportation pays the contractors to only grind up the top 25mm out and put back 25mm of top lift your going to get a **** job that will get pounded out faster then it took to do...
That section was funded/fixed by aim roads who contracted the left lane out and attempted to fix the potholes themselves on the other side. It was a temporary fix until the ministry could put out a bid tender for a permanent fix. Aim roads holds the maintenance contract for that section of...
The stock turbo is only rated for 250HP your operating the turbo above its efficiency range at 280HP, the turbo is heat soaking and you are loosing power. The turbo needs to be upgraded to a larger turbo if you want to run above 250HP.
It’s pretty rare to happen on a 16’ / 17’ however It does happen from time to time...it’s just not as frequent, the 18+ has a roller bearing, the clutch face shives are thinner then the 16’s and 17’s The old style had a little more meat on the clutch face shives so they seem to be much better...
Yeah I would take it to a dealer and get them to submit a warranty claim regardless if you are in or out of warranty. Within all reality, it’s only a 3yr old sled, if you put up a big enough fight cat will warranty it out of good faith.
Shouldn’t be a problem to run another set of clutches on...
I would let Cat know it just missed your head!
Engine is done sorry I have not seen one that didn’t fail within 500 miles after this happens. Most get replaced right away as the crank is out of spec the ones that are not out of spec fail within the first 500 miles after replacing the clutches...
Well technically there was a stop sale recall way back in 2017 but the issue was never resolved until next year 2022 when the new clutches come out...they just keep selling them and putting them on the snow and hoping they blow after the warranty is up and nobody gets killed. They are well aware...
That’s some horrible luck Ryan! Hopefully you still have some Cat warranty left or she adds up quick!! Cat has been covering it if your still on cat warranty however if your into a aftermarket warranty they haven’t been covering this as they consider it a “wear item” [emoji2357] cat really needs...
So this happened yesterday! LOL I heard a weird jingle noise a couple times yesterday and thought my clutch was going to explode. I stopped a few times and inspected the clutch and everything was good. Very very intermittent faint noise and couldn’t replicate it.
I took today off to go over...
That’s a strange one! I had it happen once before but it was from buckling the stock suspension brackets. I would have a real good look at your suspension brackets and check for any damage.
Everyone from CR is in Revy riding this weekend. Try us again next week. We will get you the right piece next week, come to Revy we can bring it up next weekend for you or ship it to wherever your staying
Held like a rock all day!! Had the luxury of breaking trail into turtle today. Smashed it as hard as I could over the 3ft whoops on the way back down she’s solid [emoji123]
Well it’s not pretty but I got the crack all welded up and the rail straight again...back to riding. Still need to build a brace but this should work for the weekend. Cast magnesium is a little tricky to weld
Like others have said the secret is staying up as late as you can when your finished work. Just flip your clock 12hrs. Your 9AM is now 9PM. How many days a week would you normally go to bed at 6pm? If you finish early go and do something and enjoy the day. I always try to be in bed for midnight...
Yeah I’ve had the new 21’ bolt and bump stop on order since October lol it’s been on back order all year. Carriage bolt would be better for sure. Thanks again
