yah thanks for the good day. gotta work the next 2 weekends so im out. after that though we need to get out again. take pics for me so i can live vicariously through your all! BRAAAAAP!
or you have so much snow going over your winshield/bars that it turns on your choke. valuable lesson learned haha. ps who has all that pic of literally every single sled stuck on top?
Hit that first hill with some speed and you will NEED CHAINS. After that its pretty decent all the way up, especially once you get past the point where rain turned to snow. If you really are nervous about it, quartz has about the easiest staging area ever ha.
rode quartz today (fri the 4th) and it was snowin steady all day long. visibility was poor so we stuck to the trees. was still snowin when we left at the end of the day so im assuming it should be a bit of fresh in the morning for you guys. they had the #1 closed west of golden when i passed...

rode quartz yesterday for first time. tons of fresh pow. up to my chest in many spots. spent some quality time diggin sleds out. few rocks scattered here and there. sun came out in the afternoon for a bit and made for a pretty good day. ps thanks to the guys who showed me around.
had that same problem on same sled today. thankfully it wasnt at the top of the hill. whats been working for me was just givin it a shot of gas when pull startin it. i dunno if this is just a lucky quick fix (and maybe an actual solution exists??)but it worked all day on the hill for me. if im...
i heard that you can take the back end of a longer track mountain cat and it will fit on the back of a firecat and you can convert to a long track. would be worth a look if i could find cheap parts. as well i was thinkin of pickin up a new windshield.
just moved to calgary in the past year and bought a 09 summit 800 and got the mrs. on a 05 short track f6. lookin to really jump right into the riding scene out here. coming from sask riding there sucks, but what can you do. Already got my gear for the mountains, now just bring on the snow...
