Ok, Ok, the heat exchanger is part of the tunnel located at the rear of your sled. look under the snow flap in the top of the tunnel you will see a bunch of little fins all running lengthways towards the front of the sled.
You don't have to put your hand under the flap to feel it, simply put...
Easy buddy, I'm with ya! it's just that I don't believe every thing I read on the internet. I believe you can heat cycle a motor incorrectly because that's how you colapse a forged Piston;). Now Rowdy doesn't have Forged pistons, the cast ones are not as prone to those issues, lucky for her...
Rowdy!, both of these guys are making some valid points however I won't totally agree with either...
#1 the piston rings DO NOT spin. there is a locating pin on the intake side of the piston that keep the ring in it's happy place. If it spun it would catch the exhaust port and that would be Bad...
What your looking for is called a bracket block 518 323 854 and retail price is $60.99 CAN... I would just replace it, to do a proper weld repair (welding the backside) is difficult on that piece, however it is possible.
"Didn't bother tearing it apart, was kind of in a hurry to just get it done so I could get it to Edmonton for today. The piston on the mag side was scored up and where the reed goes on that side was super dirty. I couldn't even turn the clutch...umm...for lack of a better term, thingy that is...
I wish we lived closer to Calgary, I'd help ya out. It doesn't take more than a couple hours. Ok maybe three.
The only special tool I can recall that you require is a flywheel puller.
I Love all the old mopars, but my favorite is the superbird just because of how odd it looks, however all those B-bodies are cool. (I have a 69 Roadrunner up on blocks that I bought when I was 16. My sledding addition is really hampering my restoration plans)
For some reason I like the larger...
You know my vote is for the new shortblock (From BRP) But I would still dismantle the motor you have now just to see exactly what failed and maybe learn a thing or two. I have done that in the past, then just bolt it back together loosely and when I have sent it to BRP as a core they haven't had...
I think Team Swenson and Mesenbrink rode my bride too hard on Saterday, she was shagged right out on Sunday and needed a snooze Sunday morning in the Frisby range
Thanks guys for showing her at trip to remember!:)
I don't have a lot of great action pictures like some of the others already posted, but I do have a couple from Friday...
Here are some folks happy they came to the Ladies Ride:d
I think this is very well said... Everyone knows there are arseholes everywhere.
I have nothing against the post at christmas time pointing out the fact that garbage was left behind, it's a good reminder to all of us. However to make a post in every single different topic/thread available on...
