i asked Pano this past Wednesday, he hadn’t been in, but heard that the big cornaces hadn’t come down, trail was whooped and parking at 2 or 3 so long trail in. I chose not to go, but maybe that’s what he wanted lol
This thread is as worthless as half ton sled deck. Bunch of know nothing keyboard jockeys
Theres a pile of these 850s out there, schools of them. If I wasn’t such a hard headed Cat man that loves pulling wrenches, I’d own one. They are an amazing sled. There’s a couple in my group of buddies...
I’m getting the same on my 16 with 18 clutch installed.
When I look at the secondary, now with no deflection adjustment bolt, the belt is almost half out of the plates, not getting full belt contact is what’s causing the slippage noise. I think
This, or a bushing pounded out on the plate between the clutches.
Any bog at all? Could be a roller in secondary causing bad alignment. But I’d say motor mount
Im not sure if you’ve been on a hill lately, but of my 15 days on the hill, I see about 10-1 average out there (Doo vs Competition). There are F***in Doo 850s everywhere out there. Can’t imagine sales are dropping, and if they are, it would be the industry as a whole
i also can see this trail...
No trick. Lighter sled with a 3” there aren’t many stucks in a day anymore. But sometimes if I fall off, or stop in a goofy spot, a slight reverse, rock sled side to side and hammer the throttle, she climbs right up and gone
In the 450 Miles this year I think I’ve only rolled sled 3 times with...
2016 with 18 clutch upgrade, 450miles on belt, no measurable wear on a 187hp 162 3” sled. This was great upgrade, would do it again absolutely
But I do have a horrible howl in loaded up reversing
Reeds on my 16 were replaced at under 100 miles under warranty. Weren’t sealing fully. Dealer replaced with Boyesden. Very happy. I did have to slightly trim intake nose cone so hood would fit properly. The boyesden housing flange is thocker than factory by about 1/8th inch or more.
