XP Heatsoak...when your clutches get hot you will loose rpm. Vent kit and give her a break if your givin er hard! If you run it when your clutches are that hot your are gonna de-lam your belt and it will strip apart!

Same old....we went through 3 doo engines this way! On the h.o. and on the R. If your a hard rider the ring pin pops and/or ring breaks and scours the cyclinder. 2600kms on ALL of the engines! We went to the dual ring piston kit from mcb performance. Got 1400kms so far this season and still...
Just wanted to give another BIG thank you to Maxwell and everyone who replied!! Got the bushings and axels put in this weekend! Was SUPER easy to do and now she handles like new!:d:d:beer::beer:
Our mechanic in town said a big culprit to these going like mine did is jumping cause the bushings...
Pretty basic concept what im saying though....friction = heat...Primary clutch spinning at 8250rpm against a rubber/kevlar/whateverbeltsaremadeof.....Your metal clutch is GONNA heat up! Just my tip to doo owners, give her a break with that side panel open and you will get at LEAST another 1/4 on...
