It is probably just the powder snow is will do that to almost all sleds so just let it warm up for a while and it shiould be fine. Same thing happened to me.
Re: Which would you rather Own: 2012 Stock 155" Pro RMK or 2011 M8 153 Race Gas Turbo
M8 turbos are less reliable, but no horse power drop at elevation which is awesome so I would go with the M8 but make sure to take a compression guage.
Try united cycle they should have dragon lenses, and 509 are by far the best goggles on the market. Not even Oakley can give them a run for their money.
Make sure you go to the hoover dam its awesome and it hasn't changed a bit. You can still drive across it and go inside the dam, and its only $20 to fly over it in a helicopter.
Powder snow screws with almost all sleds, so it may be just the air filter cloged up but at plus three you shouldn't have that problem. It is a good place to start though.
Instead of having both feet on one side try with one foot on either side of the sled. That is how you are supposed to spin 180's and 360's. That should make it much easier for both boondocking and doing donuts.
I have one with 4000km on it and it is still running strong and the compression is at 125 on both cylinders with nothing done to it. take a compression guage to make sure it hasn't lost compression
I talk to the guys at boondocker and they said the polaris has 142 at sea level, and the doo has 161 at sea level and they both lose about 20-25 horse power at 11 thousand feet.
Try calling Elk Island Sales. They have everything for pretty much anything. They take parts from wrecked sleds so they have almost any part you could imagine and for a fraction of the price.
That is always the first thing to do. Break them down and make sure the right springs are in both. After that put the clutches back on and lift the back of the sled up, then fire it up and give a couple shots of the throttle let it idle down and if the track is not moving or is turning very...
