Who’s got the updates from this past weekend down in revy area? This week’s forecast looks good but feel like it could be covering up a problematic layer of it was too warm / sunny / rainy
I think a lot of it has to do with knowing your riding area well and if you really aren’t sure, then don’t. Early season or late, if there aren’t any other tracks going across or playing on a lake and you aren’t familiar with the area, I’d say don’t.
I rode revy 2 weeeknds ago and had never...
Ditto on the Renshaw tragedy webinar tomorrow. We were on our way to mcbride that day it happened. Extremely sad story, curious to see what new info has come to light on it.
Decided to Jump on the bandwagon of this October snow thing. Day trip to Boulder Oct 25, probed 115cm at the bottom of Turbo Hill, first tracks in there. Found the best snow in the lower tree’d in areas where you were safer from hiding rocks. Blue bird most of the day. Great start to the season.
It’s a great idea, and I think a lot of people are going to try doing this with how the pandemic situation has unfolded. Can’t get mad at us for camping in the outdoors not being in town or at the hotels! We have been kicking around the idea of sleeping in trailer in parking lot this winter
I wonder if this is a free upgrade or just discounted offer on new device. Regardless if those who have already reached out can comment back, that would be helpful
I’ve been down to crowsnest pass area only once, south of there actually at Castle, it was half-decent, would be curious to explore that area more as I like meadows and tree riding more than steep alpine.
For the last several years we have towed around a steel 2 place which worked great never any issues however now with many years of road salt and grime etc even with frequent cleaning after every trip it has taken its toll. It’s a 20-25yr trailer though... we just purchased an aluminum one this...
What is the status of the Allen trail? Is it still in need of any repairs (or maybe never was?) would be curious as to when VARDA will decide to open the gate for first-comers if this snow keeps up
I have been with TD (Primum) ever since owning my own vehicles/toys/house etc. Seems to have best rates and umbrella coverage / multi line discounts etc. I also called around 2 yrs ago when I was buying my first house and looking for multi line discounts best rates etc. Still ended up landing on...
My thoughts would be that it could potentially have slid on these people while inserting the beacon back into the holster. I know I always visually look at mine to make sure it has not moved after I slide it in, as it can be kinda awkward putting it in behind the strap (see pictures).
I just...
I’d be that guy trying to drive up to snow line just to get pictures of my sled on snow this time of year if I lived local. Can’t really do much harm you’re not riding hard enough to break anything it’s all just for the fun of it. 3 more weeks and it’ll be game on most places . Maybe 2 in some...
There’s that real freaky video of a guy riding who peaks a climb and the cornice falls below him. 1 ski danglin off the side. Hundreds of metres down. Dude crawls backwards off his sled and stars how he literally sh*t his pants. I would to.
Honestly if you don’t know an area well enough you...
