The factory set-up is 145 in rear and 65 in front...although it will be like driving a grain truck....Mine is at 125 in rear, front track shock one turn up from factory (about 4-5 threads showing...seems to work pretty good. I have not changed which hole the upper idlers are in and am curious...
You must be in the auto industry to know that one ! Doesn't help your riding the turbo encabulator , but it sure can bring up the total billable hours !
I have a 97 550 M/C that I may sell at the end of this year.(Wife wants a new M6) It is in excellent shape , if you are interested I can let you know anything you want about it.
Without seeing it or testing some things I would say to start at the wiring harness and check all connections and the routing, it sounds like as the motor is torqued it may be seperating some wiring or giving it a bad ground ?
Went last year and was totally impressed with the trail system , organization and helpfulness of all the people that made it happen. I am a little discouraged that it makes all other rallys pale in comparision but at least they have a benchmark set for them. Will be back again this year and...

If your gonna buy new, might as well start with the best. ARCTIC CAT M8...Sled of the year I dont know how many times , but that should tell you something :)
I heard they have 10.5 available for the m series now, but 9" stockers work well and unless you match the drivers on the front the track has still got to bend around them anyway , so changing the back wheels without doing anything to the front is just going to add to the "wow" factor a little.
My wife rides a 97 550 M/C and i put the factory plastic skis off of my 09 m8 as i put simmons on mine . Bolt right up and work really well. Not sure what the price from cat would be , but lots of guys change them out so should be some around..?
