Box liner spray on rocker panels

Had same done to mine - sanded then sprayed rocker panels with Line-x and then a awhite overcoat. It's been 4+ years and still looks like the day it got sprayed. It's white on a white truck so not much colour matching to do. I had them do the wheel flares as well as under the flares to keep...

    Who sells TOBE outerwear?

Sweet! One pieces are back! Sieztco had a one piece in last year, I thought WTF? But whatever works, it would definitely be warmer and no snow un the back, although I never have that problem with bibs. And ya, Cycle Works in Ok has TOBE. Didn't see a one piece last time I was in there though.

    Cycle works in okotoks

Paying $270 for a belt is insane? Why would you do that? Polaris likely needs more of the blame here than Cycle Works. I just picked up a belt for my Apex from Cycle Works for under $90. $270 is insane for a belt but Skidoo belts have been in the $200 range for years. If guys are willing to...

    supercharger information

I'm still running the same set-up, everything stock except for the primary weights. I've got Dalton adjustables. I've got a multiangle helix to try and a purple spring for the secondary to get more pre-load. I was crazy busy this fall so was not able to do any work on my sled. Just starting...

    Ethanol removal

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think 94 Chevron fuel on the coast has ethanol. I think they lift the octane rating with isooctane. Isooctane is made from butane in Edm. As far as I know all the 94 in Alberta has ethanol in it.

    supercharger information

I keep my GEMS box under my cowling and have not had a problem yet. I have heard of guys running the boondocker box with success and Boost-it seems to work very well on all sorts of sleds. The MPI box is the cheapest by far though. I had issues with TORS until I installed a BOV, no problems...

    Long or Short Box

If the reason your buying a truck is for the box then the only reason to get a short box is your compromising: you'd like the truck to fit in your garage, you want a truck that's easier to park at the mall, etc. Some guys don't like to the look of them either. If your not buying the truck...

    Life expectancy of a sled.

    I think he's asking about the disposable sleds.;) I've got 7200kms on a '06 supercharged apex.:smiliestirthepot:

new riders looking for place to learn and play

I was out at some of the staging areas last Friday. Corbin had 8" in the parking lot, Atlas has 2" and Alexander had 3" (at the top of the first hill). The logging road at Atlas was still plowed.

    2009 apex mtx clutching issues

If you were not hitting the rev limited before you made these changes I'm guessing you were not running stock gearing/clutching? At 3000ft I would expect the stock set-up to bang off the rev limited, mine did. I don't think you really want to be going more than 130kph with a 162x2.5" track...

    Av gas

The only issue with it is it's more expensive than regular and has less energy per litre. Only run it if you need the octane or you like the smell of glue!

    2006 attack problem, need help

I had a rectifier go (as a result of hitting a tree), it's amazing how long an apex can run off of just he battery. But ya eventually without juice it dies. Have you checked rectifier connections, seems like it's not getting a charge. Have you checked voltage while it's running? I've never...

Who's running winter tires on their trucks and if you are, what kind?

Goodyear silent armors on my dirtymax. I run them year round. 40k on them so far and should get another 20k. I have had Nokia's on my wife's vehicles in the past...great tires!

info on 2007 phazer mtn lite

Ditto on the roll over valve, kind of disappointed in Yamaha that they have not addressed this. I have not tried to pull any weight off of ours....it looks fairly lean already. A float skid helps in the pow.

    phazer

Tough time of year to find great deals on sleds. I paid $6500 for an '08 Phazer from the dealer, brand new. the '10 your looking at has $500-600 in accessories added. It's also doesn't have the hole in the rear tunnel, which I had to fill. Not a bad deal, but not a smokin deal.
