Where is this that a bunch of boulders have been piled up? I'm bringing my family down next weekend and hoping the trail's clear from Atlas. I drove the Atlas road two weeks ago, before the parking lot was plowed and turned around at the "y" to the pasture where the horse corral is at. Must...
This is where I park when I drive down town. I work on the north side of down town but it's faster to just walk through down town. Don't recall if it has plugins.
Here's a pic just east of the atlas parking lot. 17in on the ground. Trail was rideable for the couple of kms I was on it but lots of rocks still. Sorry it's sideways, gotta a new phone I can't figure out!
Def not Nytro but maybe an Apex, they are getting hard to come by used - I think I'm on my 3rd set. Compare the part number to an '06 Apex - that was the 1st year of the apex.
Another vote for No Fog. I've been running one for 7 years. I generally only put it on below -10C or on the trail when speeds are 60kph+, especially in the morning. Also great on the big powder days. I have only ever worn a mx style helmet, and bought it because my helmet's a cheapy HJC that...
Saw one at Fernie last year, looked purdy. Too delicate for my riding style, I've just replaced my bulkhead and a-arms - for the 3rd time! I think the 5th one is free!
I had Silent Armours on my 07lbz dmax as well and thought they were great . They are a winter rated tire that I ran year round and had decent off road traction (and lasted 85,000 kms). Unfortunately they are not offered any more. They got replaced by Goodyear Wrangler "Adventure". I didn't...
Thanks but I've got 16" rims and just bought some duratracs. Other than a bit of road noise and they feel a bit soft they are good so far...see how they do i nthe winter.
I have one, bought it used 4 years ago, think it's about 8 years old. Steel trailer with checker plate deck, 2 place, with v-nose. Drive on, drive off. No problems, simple reliable trailer. Heavier than aluminum, so tough to hand bomb around but not bad if it's balanced. Ramps are heavy but...
Check buttons on the secondary, I've found a few cracked ones on my Apex. The bearing behind the secondary sees more heat and less oil than the one in the chain case - tends to wear out sooner (not the clutch but while you have it off might as well check).
What I have had happen is the small clip at the back of the gaiter come undone then the gator stretches above the back of my boot even with the front snap to the laces done up. I have had the gaiter stretch even with this clip done up.
The gaiters JMCX mentions work great, and I started off...
Can't speak to their pants but I have a patagonia shell that I paid $400 for and it is the worst shell I have ever owned! zipper crapped out after wearing it 3 times....to work as a rain jacket down town. Took 6 weeks for them to warranty it. I wore it a few times sledding and it's already got...
I'd be willing to bet that while pinned my SApex is not getting a whole mile per gallon! I usually get 60-90kms per tank depending on snow depth. I got 120km/tank before boost (10psi). If you're worried about mpg then stick to stock. I pack a 25 ltr jerry can, often don't use it...I'm not...
I'll see if I can dig something up when I get home, might be as late as Sunday.
I have the previous body style ('07 Classic),there is a body crease about 1/3 of the way up, I brought it up to there. I had to remove some body molding to do this.
Covered a lot of rock chips.
