I've seen a lot of adds for sleds where the price is more than what I paid for brand new. As soon as you walk out the door with anything it's worth less. Especially off road vehicles that are ridden hard by their nature, wear out quickly and need a lot of maintenance.
If I'm buying a used 3yr...
I've had enzo rebuild my front shocks on an Apex twice (about every 1500-2000kms). Happy, Happy! Can't remember exact pricing, I think it was around $100-150 / shock. That was just a re-build, no internal or spring changes. $600 sounds reasonable for the work your having done.
I had my rocker panels line-x'd on my '07 chev. I've got pain chips above the line-x (door dingers!) but nothing on the line-x. I think it's been 6 yrs now? The line-x coating was top coated white to match my truck. 195k on the truck. I also have running boards but no mud flaps.
I had them...
If your cogs are rubbing you may have to go to a slightly larger pulley size. That's what I had to do on my Apex. My pulley belts last way longer now.

Guys have parked at the bottom of the hill to launch in the past, just on the side of the road. It's only a km or 2 to the parking lot from there. When the road has been bad I've even seen guys park on the access road by the highway and head up the ditches to get into Atlas.
Rx1 was the 1st 4 stroke. Carborated r1 motor with gear reduction on the output shaft to bring the rpms down into the 8k range. 140hp. The Apex is an updated rx1. I can't remember all the changes but the apex is fuel injected lighter and the stearing post further forward and a longer track...
I've got an apex and Phazer. I'm 6'1" 195lbs and the Phazer will handle meadows no problem. But if you screw up there is not a lot of powder in reserve, but the real problem is the track. The stock track is to soft. It's not going to go up anything with a lot of powder on it. It's a fun sled...
I'll back up Yami chain and gears, I've got 8000+kms on my original stock chain with 4000km at 5-8psi boost (supercharged Apex). Chain still has zero stretch and looks new, as do the gears. I'm not sure who's making them for Yami but they are durable.
That would be more entertaining for me, see how fast I can tow my brother before he throws in the towel. He's as stubborn as I am, I could likely get him up near c note.
My brother and sister are coming for a visit, both back country skiers, and I was hoping to haul them up to a few lines they could ski down. Can anyone give me any tips on areas to try? So far I'm thinking of trying Castle over the Middle Kooteney Pass, or maybe the bowl before the pass. And...
No problem, I've been stuck many times. Usually at the start of the day when I'm wound up and driving my truck like a Sled!
That parking lot could use a bit more plow.

Didn't quite make it to the window mountain turn off - riding with my two kids that were on their first ride of the year. Trails were in good shape as far as we got. A few whoops here and there but not bad.
