I think I got the running temperature issue solved, cracked the rad caps and fired them up for a few minutes before securing the caps back on and after 15 mins idle time both motors were steady at 170F, once I get her opened up at higher RPM's I'm guessing the increased water flow will bring...
Overcompensating some would say...... LOL
We spend more time camping on the boat than in our trailer so I want to be sure the wife is comfortable, this one has heat, hot water, full bathroom with shower, full size bed and is completely weather proof.
So far I've noticed a few things, one...
I did the one in our basement and fawked around for months before figuring out what worked best. I had originally bought barker tile, but because the built-in was not totaly square and the sheet sizes required were so large trying to get it glued up was damn near impossible.
I ended up using...
Hospitals/Healthcare in Canada is designed to run at 90-95% capacity. In the private setting 85% is the target for maximum profitability but in our publicly funded system the target is set higher. Seeing that our healthcare system has been overtaxed and underfunded for decades 100% capacity is...
100%..... What would you all do different???? He is in a no win situation. I've never been a fan of Randy even prior to COVID but I'm not sure what everyone expects. If the Notley was in charge we would have been in 100% lockdown including curfew for the past year. No matter what Randy has...
I've traditionally used RBC direct investing but opened a wealthsimple account last week, very easy to set up a TFSA and no commission on trades, RBC is $9.98 each buy and sell. so far I'm liking the wealthsimple platform.
Supply & demand.... companies will sell to the highest bidder for maximum revenue/profit.... Same reason oil is produced here but is still spendy, we get cheaper end product but only because transportation costs are limited otherwise commodities are priced on world markets and the only borders...
If I'd have listened to my gut I'd be mostly cash right now but I didn't and I'm not.... I was up huge in Jan/Feb but since then I'm down over 20%. I don't know what to think of the markets in general but I'm quite loyal and educated in the stocks I do own. Commission free trading is big to me...
Thanks for the info, I didn't catch that.... of course there are many pages of "fine print" so maybe on the crypto side they are fee heavy. I'm more interested in stock trading than crypto so if I can buy and sell stock without commission fees that is big.
I signed up to Weathsimple today to give it a try. They offer RRSP, TFSA Personal and Crypto trading and have COMMISSION FREE TRADES - this is a game changer for me. My biggest hesitation in "trading" stocks in my RBC accounts is the fact that it's $20 for a full trade ($9.98 buy & $9.98 sell)...
Taiga Motors began trading on the TSX on the 23rd. Opened at $13.25, peaked at $14.92 and has been slipping ever since, sitting at $10.90 right now with a market cap of about $338M.
I'm going to watch this one closely.

I'm selling my trailer and going to camp on the boat from now on...
Not much incentive to camping anymore. By the time I pay the fuel to get where I'm going, registration, insurance, maintenance, entrance fees, camp fees, dumping fees etc. I might as well pack a suitcase and jump in the...
I was listening to that... there is no easy answer, a lot of people are pigs, vigilante justice is fitting but illegal. Probably the best solution is to allow organized groups/clubs to hold tenure over specific areas and allow them to charge access fees for use. Most will not agree but...
Retractions don't work, the damage has already been done. There are a LOT of people who for some reason will take what he has to say as gospel, as well as other celebrities'. It's sad how much influence these Hollywood and Sports figures can have over the general population.... Our society is...
