What the graph below basically says is that to just south of the trail system there was a ton of snow fall. There is lots of snow on the trails, we just need to pack snow from the trailheads/parking lots out, and for a bit more to fall there. Up at Highwood House - which is where Hwy 40, 940...

Just an FYI, I believe the area is not open until January 1, and only stays open in the winter until March 30. You may want to check on a government website.

The graph below shows the snow coming in just south of the designated trail system, at the south end of the area itself, and north where you turn off on Hwy 541 - Highwood House. Since the 12th, the snow has been coming, to the south for sure.
