I was quoted $7k just for re-doing the box-sides. $15k is probably accurate. You can find cheaper, but I would be worried about quality. I would be choked if I did a bunch of work and it all started falling apart 3 years after putting in the effort.

Line-x will be a temporary fix. The rust will eventually peel it off from behind. (Speaking from experience)

The 1/2" that is on sale looks pretty much identical to my 15 year old one.

I have a 3/8 & 1/2 from CT and they have been great - probably 15 years old now. Haven't not had them tested for accuracy.
