I just bought a pair of the 509 Sinister googles. They are great. I love the polarized lenses in them. I did pick the "heavy" buckles off the sides though.
That is where we stay all of the time. Just make sure they know you are sledding. The price per night is very different for sledders versus skiers. Canbe up to $30 different. They also have kitchenettes in some rooms if needed. Rooms are clean, pool is nice and the restaurant is very good.
Here is what I found on another site. I will likely be re-evaluating the contents of our sled and backpack since reading this. We do carry a Spot GPS Messenger.

When we did our two dragons, we used a air die-grinder with a 3" cut-off blade. We only went thru 2 blades with both sleds. We traced the cut-out parts from the boards and then just cut bigger than the line. We didn't have much clean-up after to make sure we couldn't see the stock boards through...
That would work for me. We would be able to get to both date (Elkford and Revy). The more days that I can get to ride with some cool betties, the better.
Brandy (coyotegirl) just posted on the Ladies Ride website that the date selected for the Canadian ride in February 21st. With JC's Elkford dates, I am not sure who would be able to attend. Should we suggest a alternative date? If most of the betties that live in Alberta/BC will be in Elkford...
I may not be close to Revy but I would be willing to help plan something. The idea of an Annual Revy Ladies Ride sounds like a blast. Last year's sounded and looked like a blast. I chuckled lots at the pictures of team orphaned husband.
We should connect. My husband and I both ride. We usually hit Crowsnest Pass, and Golden areas. Like your wife, I missed last year due a busted collar bone from a sled accident. We will be in the Golden area between Christmas and New Years this year. We will be with 2 other couples (both wives...
Corissa,
Nice sled...I have the same one with some mods. I switched my red hood out...bought a gloss black one from the Polaris dealer. You can also get it flat black also. I did a AMR Racing wrap. The only thing else I would suggest is changing to the 2009 front end. It's also a kit.
Here is...
It's $325 per day per person to ride.
If you use his sled, add $325 per day per person.
If you want him to pick you up at the airport, it's $250 for the group
Lodging is at a ride in / ride out lodge and is $150 per night.
We are booked for 4 days the beginning of February. There are 5 of us making the drive down and are hauling our sleds there. Not sure of how many of Chris's sleds will be turbo'd but he did say there would be a mix available to rent.
We had friends who went down there last year and said it was...
We just finished adding a AMR Racing wrap to my dragon. It was fairly easy to install using a spray bottle of water and hair dryer. I would use their wraps again and they have many pretty cool designs.
It took me 2 years to finally pick a decal kit. Artic FX has some nice ones but when AMR Racing created the Iron Maiden one's, I decided to go with theirs. They were not bad to work with. The vinyl is pretty thick and with some heat from a hairdryer, easy to mold to the various shapes.
Thought I would share with everyone. Many other women wouldn't understand the excitement I have over updating my sled.
Changed the hood and added at AMR Racing Vinyl decal kit. Also switched the front end to the newer 2009 version.
Sled is ready and now just waiting for the snow to come
I started on a 2008 700 dragon and had never sat on a sled before that. I wouldn't look at anything larger than that since she is just starting out. I would have probably gone with a 600 but they weren't fuel injected that year. DH only wanted fuel injected for ease of altitude correction. Like...
