do I just use the right base gasket to get the right squish....I know the base gasket affects the port timing and I heard the triple likes as big as you can go and shave the head to the right squish but I just want a running engine....not a 215 hp race fuel engine that it was! lol
yep remove the 809 top end and put on a stock 779 top end....which base gasket do you mean "stock" I know you count the holes but the race one is different that the stock top end.....I will have to go count the holes again but I know they were different
well the crankshop race engine is really a 779 bottom end with a nikasil 809 top end.....so the stock 779 top end I know will fit......do you want to sell your 779 bottom end down the road? lol

well I have a blown up 809 triple (crankshop race engine)....one dead cylinder and piston, and a screwed head!......and one dead 779 (stock) with a bent rod, but top end is good.....I was going to save some money to get a new crank for the 809 and put the stock 779 top end on.....well no money...

in order to put after market skis on a 97 summit 670 I was told there is nothing.....but there is for the ZX....my question is will a ZX spindle fit a S trailing arm or what has to be modded? If it is as easy as swapping spindles and put a set of zx skies on this seems to be the way to...
for the life of me I can not figure where the forth line is or went......there is one spot on the very bottom of the HAC unit but I can not find a hose to fit it.....anyone got a pic or diagram of the hoses on this unit? 97 Summit 670 but I think they are all the same.

what is the difference between a 779 and a 809.... besides plated cylinders on the 809? will the top off of a stock 779 fit onto a ported crankshop 809? do they use the same bore? im pretty sure they are the same because the last guy who had my sled said they used a 779 bottom end with a 809...
