    the bone stock 779 that we parted out had 340-350-360 plus the power jet (cant read the numbers but they are not plugs) with bone stock pipes. the crank shop engine had way bigger (just blank right now cause I just worked 28 hours and taking a break right now) lol

    I have same issue except stock ski-doo clutch and AC secondary in a ZX....guess I do the same? I should be able to "borrow" the kids secondary of his 670 summit and align mine.......how do I know what is the right belt? belt is tight!

    A friend had a .057" gasket so it looks like I will be in the safe zone but fat...... .077" ish if my math is right but will put it together and measure it again.....nothing is open on a Monday here to get say .040" gasket

    anyone have 18 head bolts? 65 mm long? are they all supposed to be the same length? cant remember if it was Polaris or ski-doo that had a shorter bolt right at the exhaust? could have been my 900 lol

    the head has been shaved 4 mm compared to the stock one......so we came to a sudden stop when we went to put in the head bolts......the race engine head bolts are to short......dammed if I can find the bolts for the stock engine I tore down 2 years ago.......guess Im off to the store...

    I remember what the difference in the base gaskets was now after having both apart today......the stock 779 has a .020 base gasket and the race engine has a .080 shim with 2 base gaskets adding up to .100 ish.....the head looks like it was cut down .130......the set up now I have is stock 779...

    its been years and yes my mind is playing tricks on me as I get older....I forget everything.....lol so do I just put a piece of solder down the spark plug hole until it hits the cylinder wall and turn the engine over by hand then pull it out and measure it with micrometer?
