How many miles before you had a issue?

2012 Assault w/2600 miles: Replaced first belt at 1600 miles, as the original was narrowed up, but never blew a chord. 2200 miles - developed an intermittent bog - changed fuel filter, cleaned power valves and ran a can of Seafoam through it, and it's 110% again 2250 miles - read too much...

The A/T 2's have only been available for a few months now. I have run them since November, and although they don't have a snowflake...they are better than any snowflake A/T I have ever run. Bar none, the A/T 2's are best A/T tire on the market. Awesome snow and ice performance for an A/T...

    Factory Outlet Trailers

I did forget to say that FOT is good to deal with. I have bought 5 trailers over the years from them...and have been well looked after every time. I just wasn't happy with the quality of the cargomate brand.

    Factory Outlet Trailers

I had a cargomate....I think the quality of their trailers are sub-standard, however, you get what you pay for!! I now have a Charmac and am happy when I roll under it on the creeper....I don't feel like I have to pull out the welder out and start rebuilding the trailer:D

    Thoughts on Revy and/or Sicamous/Fernie

Sicamous is my fav of the three....some of the best tree riding in the BC interior, however, Fernie is awesome - if you know where to go and revy is great too if you stay out of the traffic areas Grooming is an expensive operation....the clubs have to run it like a business and if the numbers...

    tip over sensor on pro

It sounds to me that it may be the throttle over ride system (different than the TPS) It is part of the throttle block. Slap your throttle lever a bunch of time to see if any ice and snow come out of it. These wires could also be internally stretched and broken.

    Floor drain in sled trailer

That was an initial concern of mine too, but it doesn't seem to be an issue. I used .120 material and I put a nice bead of silicone on the transition. My beavertail is pretty sloped...so the water flows right over the lip. The whole thing works pretty flawless....much better than expected!!

    Floor drain in sled trailer

My theory; My trailer floor is spray foamed including underneath the drain...so the drain storage is a heated space. In the morning when you open the plug...the water rushes out, but if it just trickled out an open drain hole it would gradually freeze (just like a waterfall does in the winter).

    Floor drain in sled trailer

Glad the suspension is working good!! I used 4"x2" aluminum rectangular tubing and drilled 1-1/4" holes for the drains. I riveted 1" aluminum angle onto the long sides of the rectangular tubing for the top mounting flange. I then welded up the ends with flat bar and welded (2) 1-1/4" aluminum...

    Floor drain in sled trailer

I made the drain. I picked up all the aluminum at metal supermarket....and the plumbing fittings at Home Depot. I calculated its volume capacity...and it can hold 2.7 US gal. i tested it this weekend and it worked awesome. I had the trailer floor spray foamed...including the underside of the...

New rider looking for someone local to take him out and show him the ropes

Good on ya!! When you hook up with anyone...just be sure to let them know your experience and what gear you have, so they are also aware of what to expect. Get yourself the proper avalanche gear and learn how to use it prior to heading out. Check this out as well...there may be an event...
