I just finished talking with SZProd and Mad Mike and they went through twice, sounds like it was a great day. Even though I am unable to attend, at least my sled did. It is too bad that some people have no idea how much work goes into this things and despite your best efforts, they complain...
I had heard that there was 110 sleds there and that they had done a very good job on the trails, I wish I could have been there as it sounded like it was a blast.
That is a very decent price if it is truly in good shape. I had an 07 and it was pleasure to own, I only had to sell it because of extenuating circumstances. Another buddy owns an 08 and is very pleased.
Unfortunately it seems no one has anything in stock anymore. Ordered a GPS that was in "stock" and when I had bought it it was out of stock shipping in a week. I don't care for the old bait and switch.
That is hilarious James, but either way it is a huge difference in how sledders get treated. I hear there is a movement to try and make Strathcona more atv friendly but it is going to take time, but of course it only takes one self centered Ahole to ruin it for every one else.
Figures that Strathcona is up to its old tricks, I noticed that the 220 was poorly plowed from Highway 14 but as soon as we had crossed 510 into Beaver county the plowing was grand and made for safer driving. Is there a better way to get to Ministick other than 220 from highway 14? That little...
Is is just ford trucks that are getting stolen? Why did they remove the chip feature from their trucks, I have a older GMC 3/4 ton that I put a club on, as I really don't want to lose my sleds should I be looking at a Denver boot too? Going to Valemont in the new year and I really don't feel...
Re: Minisink Strathcona Parking
The parking lot we go to is off of 220 onto 504A drive til it stops and when you look to your right you will see a large cleared area with a 6 foot winrow in the middle, if you have good tires you should be ok. Not sure who plows the area but I am sure it should...
Jesus! This is getting ridiculous! I am very sorry to hear this, we all work so hard for our stuff and then this happens because someone couldn't teach their lowlife children some respect!
Re: Minisink Strathcona Parking
I thought Ministick is in Beaver County? Was there a problem with the parking lot at the end of 504A? That is where we were on Saturday, little oatmealy maybe.
so do I need to space out the secondary? or the primary. It is a factory belt and there is no adjustment of the spacing between the primary and secondary.
So my buddy got an 08 polaris 600 switchback. It rides very well and does the deeper snow like a trooper. I have a 07 and mine doesn't quite ride the same, but I will figure that out later. What the the problem is, at idle the belt chirps, almost like it is not quite disengaged. My Can Am...
Cycle Works carries VES gold in bulk and sell it by the 4 litre bottle for 44 bucks which is a fair bit cheaper than the Blue bottle. It is low odor which makes my chemically sensitive wife happier.
I think I am Russian (in a past life) would that qualify me to receive one of these excellent models? Seriously, you have talent and an eye for detail. I would be thinking that Superclamp will be proud to give these fine examples to their Russian Guests.
question-- do all the beacons work on the same frequency? if not how do you know what you are looking for??? Obviously this is a very important question as I am planning on going to the mountains and I would rather be safe than sorry.
