Trust me, I know I'd like them. Friends have them, but I'm not dieing to get a set. For a great price, sure....but I am a tight wad. Besides, they won't make my sled lighter, or gain horsepower.....or even look shiny!!LOL
Now, if you boys wanna start a Superclamps for Sledgirl fund........I'll...
It is a model 4926, the specs should be on the Featherlite website. The box on the square is 20 feet, I think, plus the nose. If you run mountain sleds make sure you can fit four in lengthwise, guys. Even if your sleds are 136" tracks, for resale value, consider whether 162s will fit. Could...
Yes, so get a roof vent installed if it doesn't already have one. Salem vents are great also, for keeping out dust on gravel roads. They pressure up the trailer so the dust can't get in.
I would ordinarily buy a white trailer, but the deal on the Featherlite was far too sweet to pass on.
Several sled and ATV websites have topics discussing the pro's and cons of various brands, and aluminum vs steel frame, and in line vs full width. There is almost as much bias as there is in brand loyalty. It all comes down to what best suits your budget and purpose. I would be inclined to agree...
I picked up a brand new Klim jacket on e-bay for $82USD this spring. If I find the link I'll post it, as they have several sizes and colors from time to time.
Also, Mountain Equipment Co-op has a lifetime waranty on their Goretex also. They offered to either repair the zipper on an 8 yr old...
I wear Goretex boots, and a Goretex jacket and pants from Mountain Equipment Co-op. The price was very reasonable for the quality, and I stay dry from the inside and outside. They also have a 100% satisfaction LIFETIME guarantee on the Goretex. I had a pair of pants someone else bought about 18...
Ya got me. I haven't been there for a while, but I recall the rock being much taller with no base you could stand on as in the picture. I'm picturing what it looks like from the top looking down. To get down to the waters edge you'd go off the left of the rock, and the shoreline past there, not...
I've heard you can go from the Kakwa to BC. Google Earth makes looking things up so easy, but you still have to figure out where you are.
Is the guy you ride with Gordon? He's sledded from GC to Fox Creek cross country, and I'd love to make the trip in a year with good snow conditions.
He had...
There is another enormous rock face with literally thousands of dinosaur tracks on it. In the right light it is dead obvious what you are looking at. It is on the mine site. I saw it while the mine was closed.
