I am Honda all the way for quality. That's where it ends. When Honda smartens up and gets with what others are doing then I might go back, but in the mean time I have had 2 honda's, the 450 ES, loved it, then a Rubicon, loved it. Then hubby got us into Yamaha's, him first, needed a much softer...
There is a bull in St. Albert. It crossed St. Albert trail in front of us just north of the Henday. This was a couple of Saturdays ago. He was heading west.
Yearling on neighbours side of fence, mom on our side. Was on the deck watching for about 15 minutes, I think it is the same cow that spent last winter in the yard.
Every trip out camping/quadding we always bring the left over firewood back . But permits are only $5 and we have had them for getting birch. South of Entwhistle a few years back, around Cynthia, probably further than you want to go.
Baldy is a great ride, you can even go all the around Coliseum mtn, which is right beside it, a good day trip. Mind you we have not been riding there since about 2007, so someone more recent will have to chime in. There are also some random trails in that same area to play in. You can also go to...
Like Ron said, great rally. Great job to all the new volunteers who stepped up to the plate. Next year add another 10 or 15 kms to the run and it would be perfect. Pat yourselves on the back and keep up the great work. Prizes were great and good work on getting the prizes handed out in a neat...
There are also a couple of open areas before the staging area on the right side. Come early, the July rallies were always busy, won't know what this Sept rally will be like for camping crowds.
Our son went from a 350 kodiak to the 450 when he was 13 going on 14. Mind he has been riding since he was 7. Yamaha's and the Honda's are the 2 most reliable brands out there. Both are great for learning on, and the 450 Yamaha is not tippy like the 550 and 700's are. Honda a bit of a rougher...
Never had a problem riding in the ditch and crossing highway. You can cross right where the entrance to the dam is off the highway. Then turn left. Go straight across.
We were there on August long weekend with our Commander, no problems at all. The trail north of the highway is only a bit tough for the first 10 kms, but a lot easier than it has been in the past. We went all the way around and ended up by Crescent Falls parking lot.
Depends on the weather, there are can be some bad area's, but in the past there have been go arounds or an altogether easier route. People have gone on sportie's but we have seen them get pulled through. If you have a choice, bring the 4x4. For the most part trails are pretty solid.
