that could have went sideways in a hurry. doesnt private land have to have a no tresspasing sign every so far before it is legal? And even at that a tresspasing fine isnt very much money if you ever got charged.
7's are the way to go. Every set off is like having a vacation. For example I can head to mexico for a set off withought burning days off...... still take the time off to recover from a vaction of course. Not fort mac cold lake. Camp life is not for me. Get bussed in and out. Fairly steady here...
so in reality its 4 weeks of vacation because normal days off dont really count(ie. I work 7 and 7 so one week vacation gets me 3 weeks away from work but only really one week off becasue the other are just normal days off.... like day walkers weekends). I got what your saying. 750 is a ton of ot!
I bought a 13 eco and traded off my diesel due to cheaper operating costs. I get 16/100km on lie-o-meter empty and 24/100 towing a 30 foot light fifth wheel. I'm still below my pin weight (just barely) but do notice during high winds that I don't have my diesel up front anymore. Other than that...
Looking at going out sledding for the first time mid-april with a group of experienced riders to new guys. None of us have been out this late in the year. How are the conditions usually like? Advice on best places to go
Must be Prentice plant? Heard of a few Dow guys down there the love to do nothing but work. Personally if I hit 48hrs OT ive done to much. My time off is worth more than double time....... Unless I need a new toy
The panglobal books are useless when it come to the math portions. Mike Maidens course and reeds books are what you need to get lots of example questions. I reccomend sticking with it to get a second for sure. A first seriously limits your job opportunities. Ive been sitting on the hiring...
Thought about the tundra but they do need to dress up the interiors a bit. 5L arent a option since they dont have to tow ratings. What are you guys actually getting for milage out of the 6.0l gas jobs unloaded?
Yeah I have looked at all options and basically narrowed it down to the two choices I listed. Thanks for the input. Guess I will just roll the dice and see what happens
Im sure this has been posted before but couldn't find it. Anyways I currently have a 08 F350 and like the truck but dont really need it anymore since my fifth wheel (9300lbs loaded) is now to long to legally pull my boat behind it. I don't really need a diesel since I dont pull the trailer more...
Got to remeber its not like their interstates are two lanes. They are huge compared to ours. First time i was down driving through houston during rush hour on 5 lane hiway either side. White knuckled it the whole way. The nice part was they grasp the concept of slow vehicals stay the F out of...
so 1500 hrs ot..... that means on top of his 183 days normally at work in a year he added a extra 125 days for a grand total of 308 days a year. Now unless somthing changed thats roughly 57 days off in the year for around 5 days a month off add in maybe two weeks of vacation that he must take...
I work 7 in 7 out but bus in every day and home in bed every night. Love it and wouldnt change a thing. Make the good cash and get to be home to see girlfriend every night. That being said you do miss out on lots but thats what shift work is. You learn to deal with it and do more with the guys...
