Has any one heard of a antifreeze smell on these engines, have had it to dealer 4 times, bring it in garage and stinks it up with antifreeze smell, they have die in coolant and cannot find origin of smell.
Have you a room for a small battery, in my turbo builds I added a small ballistic battery on the 900 efi cat motor with a small water pump for water to air and a fuel pump.
Screened 3/4'' gravel and pipe way better way to do it, chances are if your inground sytem is not working a mound is your next step, or treatment plant if you have bush or trees close.
Interesting I know of and seen many well pumps hanging on pipe deeper than that around these parts. Well drillers have switched to the blue or 200 psi pump drop pipe with king nipples up to 480' that i have seen.
I have a LLY and it will be your cluster went thru same crap with temp gauge changed tstats and same reading found a rebuilt cluster and all good now. Truck is a 05 gmc.
