If your sled is coming from Martin, and you opted for the Raptors, you should have no problems waiting, as the Raptors are not BRP's fault, I would bet that your sled is at Martins just waiting on shocks, and it has been there for the last 3 weeks.
I am totally on board with your view point Ric. When I lived in Europe the trucks had to stay in the "slow lane" by Law, it was awesome. I would love to see that in Edmonton City Limits.
I am paying the same price for my sled this year as in years past, this year I get Raptors, last time it was an ABS bag. So ya maybe I paid more, but when my sled needs service, or I hit a $10000 dollar rock with my summit X with 17km on it and Martin finds me a new X in time for my next trip...
