ripped it apart, cleaned the rad really really well, ordered a rad relocate kit, and picked up a new oil seal to get rid of the pesky oil leak, going to clean and shim the clutches this weekend
My first sled was a 74 440 TNT, might have to go uncover it this weekend and bring it back to the shop to see if I can get it running again...great little sled to get my through my once again sledless season

I have the exact same bike, I replaced the stock rad with a Triple core from Highlifter, its pretty much stopped the overheating issues I've had unless its caked full of mud, Only issue I've had with the highlifter rad is the stupid plastic plugs they put in the rad breaking when hit with a rock...
On pigeon it depends on what part of the lake your at to how bad the algea is, near our place on the nw corner never gets to bad, and the.pigeon lake watershed association is working on ways to maintain the current lake levels, in the 58 years my family has had our place out there its never been...
